It is very easy to tame a raptor I have tame level 103 raptor only you need 30 or 40 raw meat and 5 narcotics and don't forget to take raptor saddle and Bola there is no damage to tame it you have to see whether any other carnivores creature behind it when there no one then it come to you and then bola it you can I have used 13 tranq arrows but still after unconscious I have left 5 tranq arrows give it 40 or 30 raw meat it will take some time

I find it easier to try to tango with these fast beasts when u get tranq arrows at lv 21 and bola one when its singled or when its away from its pack

I’ve only played for a week and I a 14 Raptors

Raptors are extremely annoying sometimes. Wild ones attack fast, and pounce at some point. Just craft some bolas, DONT USE BAT/CLUB. It will kill the raptor if you do. Use fists, and before you set out to tame one, you have to get 1 stack of meat if you are taming a low lvl like 1-5 in my opinion. But get more meat stacks if you plan on taming higher lvls. I tamed a raptor and she is lvl 4 I think, and she isnt all the fast, nor her weight isnt good. When you craft a raptor saddle, and you mount it, raptor might get ecumbered because of your weight. So use little items for newly tamed raptors that are low. All you need if you are a starter, is good agility skills (In rl) for the game, bola, and a spare bola. Stacks of meat, and raptor saddles. But anyways thats how you tame it. I have just posted this 13 mins after I tamedy raptor. Her name is Autumn. REMEBER: Do not try to tame raptors with an otter on shoulder, or a bat. It results in killing your raptor before taming it! Also, try looking for decent colors if you have time. So please, UP this if it is helpful. Lastly, Raptors can be very annoying. Sometimes they mess up your dinos you are still taming. A result in death. But when raptors are tamed, they can be useful. Upgrade weight if you are planning on riding raptor!!!! -TinaZ. R.I.P. To find and tame a raptor just go on quest en put hunt raptor the map would tell you were is the near one. Just be careful they would attack and you wouldn't even notice where they came from.

So the starve timer is 1 minute 25 seconds right? WRONG ITS MORE LIKE 2 MINUTES 50 SECONDS

If you find a pack of raptors wait till one of them wanders away or the others die,but make sure it isnt the alpha raotor because you cant tame those.(still be carful because i saw a lone one but it wasn't alone)Then you bola the raptor knock it out with you fists club,of tranq arrows.(traq arrows recomended because it can still attack you)Then feed it some meat,get it a saddle if your high enuogh level and you'll have a great buddy.

I tamed a good level with a slingshot and some bolas

1 make a sligh shot 2 shot it in the face nok it out by standing on a tall rock

1.craft a Bola

2. Find a raptor

3. Bola it

4. Clap with (fist) slingshot or tranq arrow

Taming tip: unlock unconscious arrows get it stuck and shoot it

Killing tip: get stone arrows and get up at a high place and shoot

These guys are actually pretty easy to tame, at low levels you won’t even need any narcotics or tranqs. Just get their attention and start swinging a bola when they run towards you. Release it just before they catch you and then back up super quick just to avoid being bitten. Now you’re safe and the raptor’s secured, move behind it so it can’t attack and hit it with a club. Eventually it’ll go down and you can put a bit of meat in its inventory. After that you just have to wait a minute or two and it’ll be your new friend

I recommend bringing At least 40+ meat because if ya want more baddies around it- ya got ya chance

1/ Bolt it

2/ give meat

If u need a bunch of raptors tame one no matter what the level and use it to pounce on other high levels and get off your raptor and then u can see the wild one pounced,u can either kill it or knock it out make sure to use a nice equipment against high level raptors coz like the bola your raptor will release the creature after some time,i am pretty sure that u can use this trick on any pouncable dino I have only tried it on a raptor tho

step 1. find a raptor and stay away from it. step 2. find dodo's and tame 2 or 3. step 3. make a bola and let the raptor attack the dodo's. step 4. bola the raptor and kill the dodo's so they can kill the raptor and tame the raptor and bring 50/75 meat. enjoy😊

If your a new player and you don’t have fancy tools to knock dinos out. Then use a bat it the easiest way

If your trying to like kill the raptor this is how.

1. Get a bola and grow it on the raptor.

2. Get away from it and shoot it with arrows.

And also u can just get under water and just kill it.

I have night mares of them-

SUPER easy to tame! Just make a bola and get the hunt dilo mission and get the good bow. Make some tranqu arrows and find a raptor. Bola it and shoot it in the head once or twice with a tranqu arrow and wait until it is unconscious. Feed raw meat and use narco berries if it gets low on torpor. MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER RAPTORS!!! They are generally in packs and can kill you, your tames, and even the raptor that you are trying to tame.

How do you get them to mate? I've turned on mating and they still won't mate. Plz help me!
