Raptors are extremely annoying sometimes. Wild ones attack fast, and pounce at some point. Just craft some bolas, DONT USE BAT/CLUB. It will kill the raptor if you do. Use fists, and before you set out to tame one, you have to get 1 stack of meat if you are taming a low lvl like 1-5 in my opinion. But get more meat stacks if you plan on taming higher lvls. I tamed a raptor and she is lvl 4 I think, and she isnt all the fast, nor her weight isnt good. When you craft a raptor saddle, and you mount it, raptor might get ecumbered because of your weight. So use little items for newly tamed raptors that are low. All you need if you are a starter, is good agility skills (In rl) for the game, bola, and a spare bola. Stacks of meat, and raptor saddles. But anyways thats how you tame it. I have just posted this 13 mins after I tamedy raptor. Her name is Autumn. REMEBER: Do not try to tame raptors with an otter on shoulder, or a bat. It results in killing your raptor before taming it! Also, try looking for decent colors if you have time. So please, UP this if it is helpful. Lastly, Raptors can be very annoying. Sometimes they mess up your dinos you are still taming. A result in death. But when raptors are tamed, they can be useful. Upgrade weight if you are planning on riding raptor!!!! -TinaZ. R.I.P. More Raptor Taming & KO Tips
Step 1= Bola raptor or climb on high rock
Step 2= Tranq out (recommend tranq arrows etc)
Step 3= make sure not other baddies in area
Step 4= wait for the hunger to go about half way down
Step 5= after waiting give raw meat,mutton,prime,kibble etc

Here is a easy way to tame this creature
1. Get a few bolas (just in case you miss or a there’s a pack)
2. Get meat
3. Find and bola raptor
4. Knock out with club/fists
5. Put meat in inventory
Boom! now you have a raptor!
It’s a Raptor well it is very fast and dangerous but anyways how to tame?1.you must Use bola and throw at raptor,2.Use Bow or crossbow with tranq arrows to knock him out,3.Put prime meats or meats or Parasaur kibble/Simple kibble in the raptor’s inventory to tame,4.if the Torpidity is low well you must use narcotics or bio toxins to keep the Raptor still knocked down,5.you must Check the taming effectiveness if it’s 99 well it’s good but if 10 well it’s can be weaker,6.and then TaDa you tamed a Raptor!
Use a bola and use narc arrows, or use a slingshot if you have too.
Taming the raptor is easy
Just get
A bola
Some meat
Club
Narcotics 2 or bio toxin
Just go to the raptor bola it
Then beat it with club
Give it meat
And narco or toxin
And boom you have a raptor

YOU CANT TAME ALPHAS, NO MATTER THE SPECIES! I learned the hard way when a lvl 7 female alpha killed my lvl 20 pterry the pteranodon. UP FOR RESPECT FOR PTERRY AND SO NOOBS KNOW
(Mobile) You can find them relatively near water and I recommend using bola to trip em up then knock em out then u only need to give them like 12 meat but I would give more just in case Pls like if this helped
Try to stay in flat open land, this allows you to easily snare the raptor with a bola. Approach slowly until it runs straight at you then throw the bola at it. Once hit with the bola you can easily KO it using any method you choose.
Use parasuar kibble for faster and higher level tames if possible since you need less than 30 kibbles for a perfect 100+ level tame. It may also be easier at lower levels since gathering meat can sometimes be difficult and parasuars are easy tames.
