Stories Tips

What are some stories about the raptor? Memorable raptor stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I once hatched twin raptors and I named them Roggie and Reggie. They where the cutest little things you'd ever seen. When they reached adolescent, they just disappeared. I was searching for them frantically but by the time I checked to see if they were still tamed, they weren't. I reloaded the game desperately trying to get them back. I only got Reggie back.( they didn't die, I would have gotten a message idk what happened)
Coughs.. OK I have a like/hate relationship with these little craps.. they can make a strong loyal useful tame .. but they can also get on your bad side.. now they can pounce which is both good and bad.. if you dont have enough movement speed then these things will catch up and pounce you pinning you down and nawing at your face. But also you can use this against other raptors and smaller creatures if you have a tamed raptor. I have a raptor named hunter. His stats now : lvl : 114. Gender : male. Health : 960. Damage per hit : 40 damage / 262 % melee damage. Carry weight : 268 kg. Stamina : 330. Movement speed : 120 %. He's my favorite tame and I go hunting with him every day. When I saw him wandering around on the beach of the southwest corner of the map.. I got a Bola and 6 Trang arrows and ran at him.. when he wasn't tamed he had 800 heslth.. if you see a raptor with 800-880 health tame it cause these loving pets are great In every way.
A SAD STORY!! OF GAME'S BUG !!
I bring 3 Raptors into cave and no one come back.
They were good guys with high ATK, HP and Topor.
They were not killed by any creature but stuck on a corner.
I try to take one by one to exit the cave and even using "request" function.
After few time i go out & in, to transfer items, they disappear. JUST DISAPPEAR!!!
I was shock when look at the Tamed number and realize what i lost :(
Thank God, at least, i let the Rapter mom & dad at base.
Up your hand to bless 3 poor heros.
Never go up to a alpha raptor unprepared I went to kill some carnos with my first trike I tamed and I saw a red arua and I went up to it for contexts my trike was level 26 with 200 damage once I saw it was a raptor I was happy because my other raptor had just died (RIP raptor) I got off and used a bola and I am not lying he did some anime type thing and dashed to the left I was scared cuz I saw it's hp it was 4,563 and it killed me in two shots and my trike was left alone when I came back my trike was still alive and the next thing I did next I would always regret I ran back to my base scared and then a few seconds later it popped up my trike died RIP
I was playing with my best friend on a server (mobile) and it was going great. We hadn’t much, but an iguanadon, and two raptors. I was out patrolling the mountain when I saw a pack of raptors. With my spyglass I saw three, a level 20, 50, and most important- 115. We killed the 20 and 50, but I knocked the 115. He was a magnificent shade of green and so, after much time tending for him and taming he became the grinch. His name was The Grinch, as he was sneaky, evil, and green. But inside he was a good raptor. Sometimes we called him king of the world, because he was the highest level of us all, 175. Later we put them on our roof so nothing could get them. (we thought) The next day we checked them and saw only one wooden floor. I checked tribe chat and saw endless red writing. The end. R.I.P Rosemary, Cheetohs, And Grinch, All good friends and protecters.
The gigas name was Meat Run if you needed to know :( Darn Meat Run.
The War
Chapter 2 (collab of bob and seasnake)
Lightning growled in his pen. It was tight, and he could hardly move. He pushed his dark blue claws against the wet, shiny metal bars. Beside him, more war creatures stood in their pens. They were waiting to be released. Ahead, he saw damp trees on a crest, full of green grass. Rain pounded on the metal above Lightning, the raptor trying to move his tail but the cage was too tight. He heard gunshots and screams of humans as they fought a war. Lightning let out an irritated huff as he tried pushing on the bars again.
A human must have saw them, because he ran over and started unlocking the cages. He made a few frustrated noises as he unlocked them, carnos and rexes and more dashing out. Finally the human unlocked Lightning's cage. As the door clanked and swung open, he ran out and to the attackers. Pouncing on one, he ripped their armor off and tore their head from their body, blood pouring from it. Lighting raced toward another enemy, his claws raking up dirt and loose grass. Suddenly a rope grasped his legs and he tripped, grunting as he landed head-first on the ground. He tried to get up, pushing off the ground with his talons but another bola weighed his front half down, wrapping around his arms and neck. Another enemy walked up to him. They stared at each other for a moment, the stars being the only light illuminating the battlefield. Then the human pulled out a gun and shot Lightning in the neck with a sharp dart, a ball of red fluff at the end. Feeling suddenly tired and exhausted, he fell limp.

Descended
Chapter 1
Moons on the Island nowadays were always forlorn for the lowly.
Even those Southernmost, Saur and Sapien alike, indubitably suffered daily. Howls and rustling fill the air this night, unnatural noise surrounding the firm, stone structure. A tiny skirmisher encampment. Counts as only our second real infiltration mission.
Gosh, you’ve got to be grateful for all the noise tonight.
It’ll cover the ambush easily.
Swift and silent footsteps pitter-pattered through the bush, followed by the sound of two other Saurs, all three advancing through the trees and straight to the camp. Its walls were primarily of wood and stone, crafted to stand, but poorly built. A few brutish Sapiens endlessly and pointlessly walked around the spiked walls, armed with sharpened spears made from branches, covered in leather made from dodo hide.
A synchronized dart behind the closest rock to the camp.
Only two of my Saur fellows - Swiftfoot and Kage - came with me to the camp. We had to leave Perniene behind. She was getting too paranoid. One mishap would make her shriek louder than a volcano would erupt.
“DODOS of all choices for their hide slacks! Little bastards!” Swiftfoot growled in an almost outburst, quickly followed by a “shush” from me and Kage.
Swiftfoot was a Galliminus, impeccably fast, impeccably skinny, and impeccably whiny. He’s a vegan like all herbivores I know of, and any reference to herbivore Saurs being harmed in any way sickens him. Mostly intolerable, but a precise scout, and, well, no one can outrun him.
“I’m going to be sick,” he clattered, nervously clashing his claws together.
“Hey, just, do your thing and get us past these chumps.” I replied, refraining myself from making too much noise.
I, myself, am a Raptor. One of the cleverest ones around, too.. all you need to know, right?
“Alright..” Swiftfoot stepped up into the clear. He snapped his jaws loudly a few times to catch the attention of the leather guards. Sure enough, they chased after him with malicious intent. I tried to tell him to make sure they get as far away from the camp as possible, but he darted too far away already. His sense of hearing wasn’t the best.
“That stubborn Saur, he’ll have them run in a circle all over the camp at best.” Kage growled, running over to the gate and gesturing for me to follow. “HURRY.” Then, he reared back and spit at one of the doors, and easily enough, it melted and corroded away. Me and him dashed through, and the guards didn’t notice a thing.
Kage is a dilophosaur, and a pretty big, muscular one for his type of Saur - he’s around my size, to be exact. He had an absence of joy in his life, too. Kage doesn’t even wag his tail like all other Dilophosaurs. The Bane Empire can be held responsible…
Like every other moon, Kage is wearing the allosaurus skull he uses to protect his head and cover his face, as well as the leather belt made from allosaurus hide, carrying his “hotbar” of naturally-made weapons - riverrock daggers, a longbow, a long-edged sword made from the rib of a Carnotaur skeleton. He still hasn’t told me his beef with Allosaurs yet.
Once we got inside, we dashed for the hut carrying the weapon the Bane Empire was most despised for.
Bombs.
Explosive little creations that kill the land.
Kage stood there for a while, staring..
“Well then, Ember. Let’s dump these bloody bombs while we still can.”
I quickly nodded with a straight face, and we started deactivating the explosives…
So one time I was not really new to the game but I wasn’t at the level I am now. So I had a trike, a dodo, and an adolescent parasaur. I was on the island map and died close to a jungle due to a couple of ovriraptors because I didn’t have much and was just exploring at that moment. Well I had boated there with a raft and put a bed on it and spawned there. So where I died was where the ocean led into a river and I spawned back at the entrance of the river. Well, my DA being so desperate for my Dino’s and the things in my inventory just rushed it. I saw one raptor and didn’t really think anything of it so I crafted an axe and attempted to unalive the b**** and next thing I know I’m getting flogged by a pack of like 8-12 raptors. Not to mention there was a Rex nearby too so there was like 0.00000000000001% of survival. I managed to lead the raptors to the Rex and they ended up killing the Rex because of its low level and the number that there were. So I just started running and ended up dying.
Just felt like sharing.
It was any ordinary day, raptor taming. My rifle was held was held up, tranqs darts loaded, aiming directly at a vein in the neck, knocking it out the fastest. I inched closer, then.. SNAP! I cursed myself, ah shit. The raptor turned and disappeared into the bushes. I frantically looked around, only to see it’s curious glowing eyes through the bush, I lowered my gun, reaching out to stroke the majestic dark blue and midnight black creature. I raised my gun and shot his neck, he fell over and sighed. The lvl 145 base raptor now lvl 243 is a beast. He lead a pack of 6 raptors high lvls has killed 3 bosses with his pack, including a giga and is incredible. His name is Rockstar, his unique way of not attacking me when I found him told me he was the one, He politely stood still when I tranqed him, Rockstar is now my forever retired pet. He will never be in harm’s way.
This is the story of Brown, my old raptor. One day, I was walking around, and I saw this random little raptor. I knocked it out and named it brown. Brown was amazing. I gave her a saddle, and she killed with ease. She survived when an alpha raptor attacked my base, and killed all of my tek parasaurs. She survived every battle I had with her, until the last one. But than it came. A therizinosaur. I tried knocking it out, but it killed me. It than attacked my base. Brown, being the loyal raptor she was, ran faster than all of my other dinosaurs, to stop the therizinosaurs rampage. It happened within seconds. The therizinosaur raised its claw, and sliced poor brown. Brown had hurt the therizinosaur badly though, before she tragically met her end, allowing my bronto to finish it off. I made a gravestone for my raptor, and now I have an army of raptors. I know she would have wanted that.
The Shift
A fanfiction by SilverWings
Chapter 8
It was morning, and with morning, came unbearable heat. Tealfeather's joins were stiff from the intense cold of last night, and as she went to grab a small chunk of meat from the dwindling prey pile, that was all she could think about. Then she remembered Star. The raptor's voice was still echoing throughout Teal's head. It was causing a bad headache. *Maybe I could go to Amberfeather to get something for headaches,* she thought. Amberfeather was the clan's healer. She had a way with different plants and materials and could create different concoctions that were the most reliable form of medicine the clan had. Amber sat in her nest, located near the entry, pressing an absorbent algae to the wounds of a familiar raptor. "Greyfeather!" Teal cried. "What happened to you?"
"Run-in with a flock of terror birds. They got Orangefeather pretty good."
Teal looked past her and saw the orange-feathered raptor curled in a ball and bleeding from several wounds, the most noticeable being a deep cut on her leg. Orangefeather was a mutual friend, and Tealfeather couldn't help wincing at the sight of her so injured. Orange was practically buried in moss and was sleeping with a peaceful expression on her face. Amberfeather finished with Greyfeather's wounds and turned to Teal. "What were you looking for, Tealfeather?"
"Just... something for a headache." Teal replied. In hindsight, her headache didn't seem very serious.
Amberfeather sighed.
"Not much I can do about that, Teal. Normally I'd have some berries I can give you but..." she trailed off, glancing at the small pile of supplies she'd gathered in the desert wasteland. "It's probably the lack of water." she finished abruptly.
She was probably right. Teal hadn't drunk anything since she'd killed that creature... yesterday? *Only yesterday,* thought Teal. She'd only spent a single day in this barren, unfamiliar place, but she felt like she'd been there forever.
"I'll go hunting," she decided out loud.
It wasn't a bad idea. The pile was running dangerously low on prey, and with luck, she'd find some of those water creatures. Tealfeather set off alone.
The sun was setting by the time Teal returned. The body of a water-creature was being dragged behind her, and she had no bad injuries. Teal dragged the prey to the pile and spotted Greyfeather by her nest.
"Hi Grey!" Tealfeather yelled.
Grey chuckled, leaving Teal confused. Her feathers caught the dying light as she laughed.
"Been hunting, have you? I've seen those things, they wouldn't leave that." Grey pointed to a shallow cut on Teal's side.
Teal's face flushed with embarrassment. It was true, She'd accidentally but herself on a green prickly plant thing.
"Go to bed Teal," Greyfeather said, still laughing.
*That's a good idea,* Tealfeather thought. It would be easier to get to sleep in the evening, when the sun was still working over the horizon, than in full-blown darkness. The temperatures were already beginning to drop. When Teal got back to the nest, Bronzefeather wasn't there. She curled up in a ball and rested her tail over her nose. Soon, her breathing became steady and even.
Do you want a pack of raptors but don’t want to tame a lot?Well then this story for you.
So I just moved into my new base when I decided I wanted some raptors.I got three girls and one boy.I didn’t want to tame more,so through a long process I bred them and now have nine speedy killers. If you don’t want to risk dying while taming them, then just breed them.
