We need to bola a raptor and knock out with fists or slingshot, then feed the raptor with meat.

Bro the guy who says do not engage alpha raptors is completely wrong they’re insanely easy to deal with, I have more trouble killing normal raptor packs.

Get one of your mates to get killed by it with no items preferably, as for some reason alphas can’t eat bodies, they just wait till they decompose. Then load up your crossbow with 100+arrows, get a mate to do the same and shoot from a relatively small but safe distance.

It worked for me and my friend, we’ve killed three alpha raptors and even an alpha carno

U ppl r saying these things r terrors and hard to tame u don't need chitin armor I had hide and I used a bat without a bola one I used my fists on! I almost never die to these its usually that I fall off a cliff when im chasing it 😑. But these things r great pets u don't needa upgrade weight to ride just have as little of ur weight and possible then its just fine I would upgrade 4 things speed damage health and weight.

So I was looking to tame a raptor I finally found one I tried to bola it I missed it hit the para it was chasing this was a lvl 2... it’s pounced on me and killed me it also killed my parasaur with a saddle her name was red I couldn’t find where her stuff was so I lost a saddle and my ride that I mainly used, I have tamed one of these tho it almost killed me I was about half health it wouldn’t go into the trap but thank god it started attacking a ramp I shit at it with my tranq arrows and it knocked out and I had to go back to base to get meat and I tamed it I had about 210 health at that time it pounced on me too so I almost died like I said I named her swamp cause her colours are dark swampy green and a light-ish swampy green and then a very light blue I thought the name Swamp suited her so yeah it kinda sucked and I don’t have a saddle yet

There weakness is they dont stop moving, i was level 5 and it had just killed my dilo. I hopped ontop of a rock and filled it with stones from my slingshot then once it ran i finishid it with my club. It got ontop of my rock several times but it just ran off again.

When you encounter a Raptor, it's better to throw a bola on him and put him to sleep with tranq arrows. It has really low torpor and you can take him out in three shots. Once he's asleep you can kill him or get away safely.

I mean, they aren’t that bad, but stop saying they are amazing. Tame an Allo or Rex. You will rethink your decisions.

Get a tranquilizer gun make tranquilizer darts wait at Waters Edge, for one to fight herbivore. Dart the raptor, dart the herbivore the herbivore is not easily knocked out it will run away. 745 mins to take with basic meat, have fun!

Found alpha raptor and I killed him. It took a sword and a tamed pteranodon. The pteranodon named was terry. R.I.P terry.

Raptor can sense you from far away and i dont recommend getting any closer to it if you love your life, if you are pro enough to kill it you can, however the starter out there that read this must know it, these monster are savage killer when it spot you, he bite and hack you using its sharp claw, escaping from these guy recommend a high speed, so i suggest to upgrade your speed when you got your point after leveled up.

You can tame raptor with bola or do a trap. Use Prime meat if you can't do a kible.

I tamed a level 114 tek raptor just don't miss the first bola I did and I almost died

All u need is a bola and a bat and you have a raptor but look out when u hit whif the bola he stil can hit you
