its very terrifying when they chase you since they pounce, they look like deinonychus

they look like a duck on steroids when they chase parasaurs or phiomias, when i first saw them, i was scared because they look like crazy running maniacs

I tamed him with a tranquilizer dar a few times then I gave it meat and then he was mine.

The is not to tame for wars i think that no need for this tip

If you want to tame one get some high defense and a bola ore tranq plus avoid packs!

If you tame one of these and upgrade health and strength then u can kill carnos,rexs but i rather not do that if u want to live

Step 1:build high tower

Step 2:tranq out raptor

Step 3:feed raptor(most recommended parasaur kibble)

Step 4:when tamed put saddle on

Step 5:kill some moschops

Step 6:lvl everything in to health

Step 7:when raptor has at least 10k HP lvl DPS

Step 8:after lvling 20 lvls into meelee

Step 9:lvl HP again,this time to 20k

Step 10:again lvl 20 lvls into meelee

Step 11:now lvl HP to 40k

Step 12:lvl 50 to meelee

Now your done

All you need is a bow tranq arrow and if you don’t use a bola and bat

An preety good early tame. The pounce is useful on PvP, but only on PC(It is. removed on Console)

With a fast movement speed and a crossbow with narcotic arrows, you can run from raptors and knock them out in about 3 shots on low levels. That's how I could tame a lot of raptors (as described in my previous tip where I killed a therizino with them)

I think it’s easier to escape from them now because I haven’t seen them knocking me out of my mount for a few days

If you run into one then simply bola it and hit it with a sling shot with rocks it’s the beginners way. I am so happy that I retrieved a raptor and make sure when breeding put them on one pad.

You need a bow lots of arrows and a high rock

Bola it before it pounces on you and I recommend slingshot or a wooden club.

All you need to do is bola your friend and use a wooden club or your hands to knock it out and well you know the rest feed it meat and WOLA you have your raptor

Materials: 2-3 bolas 1club if low lvl or tranqs

Step1:find one they like forests step /two:bola it /step three: go behind if your using club method step four k.o it and let I starve then feed it meat/enjoy!!

Just so you guys know, a bola doesn’t always work against these guys. I don’t know if it just a mobile thing but some bolas don’t seem to work for me; the raptor is stuck for just like 2 secs and then it springs on me and kills me

I tamed a Raptor and I named her Raver she was the best thing ever she was quicker than other raptors and she was so cute I was thinking about getting her a mate so I went looking and there was this SUPER chill looking raptor it was really slow but I underestimated its power I used a bola in it but I was too close to it so this orange raptor that I really wanted pounced on me it had the bola on it but somehow managed to pounce on me and so I went to refresh’s my stuff but I didn’t want my dinosaurs to die so I used my raptor Raver to go get my stuff but as I was gonna walking A WHOLE BUNCH OF EVIL THINGS WERE SPAWNED I ran still on my raptor then all the sudden 2 raptors appear and then I was knocked off then a Scorpion comes and stings me then I watched in horror as I died my raptor running to the others to kill them... I don’t now if she is alive but I doubt it R.I.P raver I will love you always
