If you see an Alpha Raptor just take in a trike and try to keep it living long as possible, make sure your riding it though once your trike dies the alpha raptor will gorge on the dead body for as long as it doesn't finish the body hit it with arrows and it will die after about 25-30.

Her colours matched a raptor and a DireWolf I used to have, the raptor was called Thunder and the DireWolf was called Ivy, do I called her Jungle Lightning. Not sure whether this is a bug or what but the second you get to level 21 they stop showing as dangerous i was trying to tame an equus and all of a sudden raptor was on top of me then whenever i went to get my stuff back there were more raptors everywhere and it still didn’t say dangerous area

Get on a rock or a stone piller then get tranklizier arrows then shoot it if there is one use 2 arrows if more like 4 you need 32 best taming process

You can still hit them when they pounce on you

If you have a bola and a club and a tribe member it is super easy to team this raptor grab meat and it’s yours

Wait until the raptor fights another Dino. Then pummel it with a slingshot, tranqs, or any other K.O weapon. If the raptor hones in on you, you lost the tame. Make sure there are no more raptors in the area before doing this. They are commonly found (I think), in the swampy area outside the redwood forest.

I built a 3x3 box with no ceiling and used my argentavis to pick up the raptor and drop it in to the box trap. Once it’s inside it’s a guaranteed tame if you have tranq arrows.

-build a door on one side of the box so you can shoot it.

-make sure the box is 2 walls high or it will attack you!

Make a bola throw it at a raptor hit it or your done for then club or fists

If you encounter a raptor next to your base and are under lvl 10, get in front of it and run. You are usually faster than raptors, so once you get far enough away, make it attack something else like a parosaur, run back to your base and it will not come back. But if ur lazy just stay in your base and wait for it to despair.

If there are raptors in a pack make sure they are separated and make one agro onto u and run really far from the pack, go onto a rock, bola it, tranq it and boom, You have a raptor

They should add alpha creatures to here. By the way you can’t bola an alpha raptor for an easier

Use bola neither they can catch and kill you

I killed one of these on day two by stabbing it from my doorway.

Make an auto farm for meat/tek Dino drops/chitin/hide/ ETC

Have all of the,example, tek paras for an auto tek farm the paras go on top so the eggs and poop can fall in to the area where you you’d have the raptor and maybe and dung beetle for poop clean up,set the raptor to aggressive so it can kill the baby’s that hatch and then harvest them for the resources. Really hope this might help a lot of people trying to find a way to farm as many recoiled that they need 🙂

I recommend leveling up stamina, dmg,Heath,and weight, maybe some speed
