How to get a raptor easy

Step one craft 2 or 3 bola(you technically only need one but the extra is Incase you miss or there are more near).

Step two get your traq method of choice and knock them out just a warning if your too close to the raptor they can still melee you so I suggest using bow + traq arrows slingshot will work too tho

Step three give the raptor 20 meat or so

Step four (optional) if you are playing console (Xbox, playstation pc) then you can open your inventory and there's a tab where you can track all taming going on in your tribe it has a claw mark with a plus to get there press pause(Xbox and playstation) five times or click the icon(pc) and then press the creature you want to track in this case it's the raptor and this menu will show you the hp how close it's too waking up and food

Step five enjoy your new raptor

Bruh just get on a rock and shoot them with a ranged weapon

The best way to kill alpha raptors for low levels just put spike walls around it and make sure your at a safe distance (I would recommend a flyer to put the spike walls) grab some popcorn and watch the drama unfold

To the guy who said you could take down bosses with these, have you ever done that?

i have a way to tame them first you need a bola to stun them then you need a tranq arrow you dont need a cross bow if you have one then use it but you need like a bow so you can tame yourself a raptor

To tame bring a sacrifice dino and shoot the raptor then while he is attacking the dino, bola it then, club it

When it’s seen you to escape swim away from it soon it’ll leave you alone(NO SHALLOW WATERS)When killing bola it and then stab it with a pike or slash it with a sword(if you have a flying creature just fly away to escape)if it jumps on you it will bite you over and over again soon it’ll get tired and get off avoid it unless you have a good creature(lvl 50 or more)

Good when on land just don't bring them into water they hella slow

Taming these guys are really easy all you need is a bola and tranq if your low on health I would just use a bow and about 2 or 3 tranq arrows to knock them out and breeding them is easy too all you need is a female and a male and if they can mate then you enable wandering on both of them

If you want to kill a raptor you need one bola if you have a bow and some arrows if you don’t have bow and arrow I would say you should take 3 bolas and run away, even if they are stuck don’t use melee because they can still hit you and eventually they will get out

If you’re looking to kill some rlly high lvl Alpha raptors, I’d suggest taming a max lvl direwolf, then lvling it’s Heath to maybe 10k-15k. Take out most of the raptor’s health on the direwolf, then depending on what ur tryna lvl, take the kill on that.

They are very easy early game games. But be careful, if there is more than one because they will mawl you!

To escape a raptors clasp, simply bola the raptor(s) and kill them / tranq them, if you don’t have any bolas the hop on a large rock so they can’t reach you, if you can’t defend yourself then just runaway from we’re you were and to a place where it won’t bother you so when you die you won’t have to deal with it

Try to get atleast three for pack bonus

Metal crossbow and some tranq darts! Easiest way for me. I just shoot! That is because I have my health up high

If you have good tames, looking for alpha raptors is a pretty good way to get blueprints in mid-game

If you’re being chased by a raptor go in to water they are very slow in water especially if you have a raft

You to have some points in your health and have shield find a raptor then keep shooting it from a hill it cant get up until its knocked then feed it some meat and you have a raptor

Alpha raptors cant pounce and take you off your mount unlike normal raptors, use this to your advantage.
