I was about lvl 5 when I tamed my first raptor all I did was sling-shot it with about 5 rocks to knock it out then fed it easily obtainable raw meat

These guys are easy to tame. you need three bolas,tranqs,and meat you know the rest probably. Also my two raptors egg hatched up to give congrats!

Great early game tame for protection. Easiest thing is to bola and tranq doesn’t take a ton. My friends and I managed to use two tranq arrows and a bunch of punching to knock out and tame Chance the Raptor. Great for early game hunting and protection annoying to raiders on foot.

This raptor is good but I have one problem, The raptor bite is like repeating very very fast and I would like wildcard to slow it down and make the pin shorter. Up this so others could see, Thank You!

Alpha and regular raptors can be restrained in a wooden cage and cannot harm you, resulting in huge decreases in ammo use.

You may need 3 or 2 bollas a slingshot and you must be in a high place it is possible to do it on lower on the ground tho it is harder

A pack of 3-4 mid level raptors and a couple of dimorphs make for a great PvP pack when running solo. The speed of these creatures combined with their ease of tame and utility makes for a force to be reckoned with. Ghille armor, a few raps and dimorphs, and maybe a tank and you're set to solo any players without huge tames.

(I don’t know if it works on PC or console, but I only tried it on mobile)Guys, stop struggling about trying to defeat an Alpha Raptor! I know the easiest and cheapest way to kill them! But you need to have a flying dinosaur, which should be easy to tame, you can use the Pteranodon, it works perfectly! First of all, place a wooden cage on a flat place, if it isn’t flat, it would be harder to do, so place it on flat land, then lure the Alpha Raptor inside the cage using your Pteranodon(fly the Pteranodon above the cage). Also don’t forget to open the cage door before doing that! When the Alpha Raptor is stuck in the cage, quickly close the cage door. It might do some spinning and dancing in there, LOL! Next bring a crossbow, with 50-70 stone arrows, the amount of arrows depend on the Alpha Raptor’s level. But if you’re using a bow, maybe bring 130-150 stone arrows, then start shooting it with your bow/crossbow, then when it’s dead… CONGRATULATIONS! You just defeated an Alpha Raptor! To tame it first tame it than you have tamed

Here’s how to tame a Raptor:

1- Bring 1 bola, you can bring more in case you miss.

2- Bring 20-30 Raw Meat and some narcotics(Don’t forget to bring Tranq Arrows or a Club).

3- Find a Raptor.

4- Bola it, then start hitting it with a Club or Tranq Arrows.

5- When it’s knocked out put the meat in it’s inventory and use the narcotics when it’s torpor is getting low.

And now you have a Raptor! Raptors are very easy to tame! Hope this helped! :D

its actually easy asf to tame it in the early(im talking about lvl 23 or lvl 53+ how i tamed it)just get 1 or 2 bola for spare on if it got out and use biotocsins ig if you prefer it but i used slingshot(45 rocks if i remembered)and feed prime meat or just regular meat(but its slower if its just regular meat)

These things are pain, I have tamed one in my current world, and I have not tried again I try to tame

A pack of raptors killed my baby argy that I was raising. I am now the Batman of ark going around servers killing 100-300 raptors in a saps of 4 hours with my shadowmane. I AM VENGANCE

Seperate it from the group with a slingshot then bola it. Use the slingshot and shoot its head until it falls. Then tame it with raw meat.

To tame, make sure the raptor is alone. Then, bola it, and shoot it’s head with tranq arrows. If it is not alone, get up to an advantage point.

Raptors will jump to the moon and back so be careful

How to tame a raptor 1 find a decent level (I. Recommend level 20-40) 2. Get tranq arrows and bow

3 knock it out

4feed it naracotics and prime (if you have any)

And if you don’t then just feed I’m regular meat

5 saddle it and boom

Does anyone have any tips for traps? I might tame one soon and the chances of a pack of raptors is pretty common. My goal in this new ARK data is to not die, so this would help a lot.
