(I don’t know if it works on PC or console, but I only tried it on mobile)Guys, stop struggling about trying to defeat an Alpha Raptor! I know the easiest and cheapest way to kill them! But you need to have a flying dinosaur, which should be easy to tame, you can use the Pteranodon, it works perfectly! First of all, place a wooden cage on a flat place, if it isn’t flat, it would be harder to do, so place it on flat land, then lure the Alpha Raptor inside the cage using your Pteranodon(fly the Pteranodon above the cage). Also don’t forget to open the cage door before doing that! When the Alpha Raptor is stuck in the cage, quickly close the cage door. It might do some spinning and dancing in there, LOL! Next bring a crossbow, with 50-70 stone arrows, the amount of arrows depend on the Alpha Raptor’s level. But if you’re using a bow, maybe bring 130-150 stone arrows, then start shooting it with your bow/crossbow, then when it’s dead… CONGRATULATIONS! You just defeated an Alpha Raptor! Can I kill a level 10 ALPHA raptor? One bronto, 3 parasaurs, 3 carbos, 2 raptors and two baby raptors, 3 ptéranodons, and 2 trikes! Please respond cause he’s getting closer.

In a recent PC (and very soon to console) update these little jerks can now pounce on you...and they WILL. Every. Damn. Time. They knock you off mounts and on you to the ground while they gnaw on your bones...mocking you. They’ve knocked me off an argy and therozinos several times. They’re much more deadly now. PS...alpha raptors ALSO do this.
I’m on console and so far I have tamed a carno, baryonx,bronto and a peranadon(I’m a nub) but I have not seen any raptors anywhere! Arrow up if you think I should travel west
Raptors killed my level 29 para named Birdy Bird (dont Ask Why it’s name is birdy bird). I had to abandon Birdy bird! One like for R.I.P Birdy Bird :(
If One is following you and you are not prepaired hide behind a larhe herbivore like a trike. The raptor will accidently hit it and they will fight to the death. Run while the battle is still hapening. Hope this helped. Up for noobs who have never seen a raptor
If you encounter an alpha raptor while riding a weak tame and it attacks you. go swimming under water and get out of its range I saved my raptor (lvl 20) like this.
In Ragnarock across the bridge with the holes there are some Tek Raptors and regular Raptors to!
This is how to beat a alpha raptor…
1. Find a alpha raptor
2. Get it’s attention on you and aggro it
3. Go to an area with a lot of herbivores and hide underneath a diplo and bronto if you can’t find a large pack of trikes or stegos
4.go to a high rock and see the raptor getting beated
5. If the raptor kills the Dino’s get out a shotgun and some of the ammo or get a crossbow with tranq arrows and shoot the alpha raptor
6. Make sure that you skin the alpha to get a lot of prime meat
7. Use that prime meat to tame more raptors
8. Get a raptor squad and go on a hunt for alpha raptors once in a while
9. Breed your squad to get lots of baby raptors
10. Get the left over prime meat or meat and make sure to feed the baby raptors
11. Enjoy!
