Can you find these things in south zones

Idk how many times I’ve tried to complete the pursuit, “Hunt raptor”. It’s super stressful. Any tips?

A basic Alpha Raptor Hunting Guide

You will need

A saddled Stego(any armor works)

Veggie Cakes(optional).

1. Find an alpha raptor

2. Clear the area of secondary threats

3. Start swinging at the raptor(it usually gets in roughly 1 hit per 3 stego swings).

4. Keep swinging until the raptor is killed(veggie cakes can be used to heal).

5. Collect your reward

Drops

Raw Prime Meat

Hide

Mid-High teir loot(includes metal tools).

T-Rex skull(hat skin).

The best way to tame a raptor:

1 Craft a bola

2 Find a lone raptor

3 When it sprints towards you throw the bola at it

4 Knock it out with a slingshot to the head

5 Put meat in it’s inventory and you have a raptor

Are surprisingly decent at raiding as they can pounce players of there mounts and kill them, just need to have a lot of healtj

Get it’s attention then when it gets close bola it then stand to the side of it and punch it till KO then feed it at least 50 raw meat just in case

These things are pretty good at hunting it’s own kind because it can pounce on smaller creatures or other raptors.

Looking for a raptor but can never find one? Just take your favorite tame with you and all of the raptors on the map will be eating him/her and then eating your face of while you stare at the last place you saw your tame!

I had one that I was just about to name, but I was pounced I’m by one of these things and my raptor killed him. They kept coming and we fought well, but sadly he didn’t make it. I was pinned down and he was trying to kill the one on me, but he got pinned too. I screamed for them to let him go but they pay no heed. I was able to get out from under the raptor on me and I rushed over to save my friend, but as soon as my metal pile hit the raptor that was killing my friend, that evil raptor dealt one more blow, causing my best friend being killed and his dead body went off the side of the hill. I slaughtered all the raptors that was remaining around me and I was crying the whole time. I then go down to my fallen hero and it just started raining. I took his implant and was hoping to revive him later. Right now, it is in the innermost of my house and protected by 5 dodos and a scorpion. I will revive you buddy. I miss you so much pal... wait on me please....🥺😭😭😭😭😭

Hi this is a top kn how to tame a rapter so first you will need a bola and a bow and some tranq arrows so... 1.find a rapter

2.bola the rapter

3.soot it with tranq arrows and knocked out

4.put meat in the rapter

5.waiy for it to tame

6. Your done enjoy your rapter!!!

I have a pack of 8 raptors and they can kill almost anything. I initially had a pack of dilos, once I started making tranq arrows, I replaced the pack with raptors.

When you see a raptor bola it and knock it out.

[MOBILE] I consider raptors a must have tame at early game. A decent level raptor will help you start clearing caves and a pack of them will allow you to delete bigger stronger predators. And, for as long as they don't pounce, taming them is a breeze.

You gonna need: 1 bola, 40 raw meat (a lvl 150 raptor needs just 26 to be tamed, that's being generous) 10 tranq arrows if using crossbow and 20 if using bow.

Get close enough for them to agro on you, start spinning your bola, throw it when they're close enough to be guaranteed hit. Shoot tranqs at them, AIM FOR THE HEAD, you'll save arrows and time.

After knocking them out, check they hunger stat, you wanna wait until it's less than half. Go do something useful and come back later. When it finally is below half, give them the raw and the taming meter will be full in seconds. Now just it home and love it.

My first one i’ve ever had was named Steel and it fell off of a cliff, was attacked by a Sarco and a Titanoboa and it killed BOTH of them and its health didn’t even go down halfway.

Either your best friend or your worst enemy. I tamed one and it was a pretty fast mount. It is like the Parasaur but faster and smaller and a carnivore. Can leap on small creatures (or other players if you are on multiplayer) while wild ones bite you only four times when they pounce on you. You can order YOUR raptor to bite until the prey is dead.

To day ( march 30 2020 a ten year old on ark level 59 with her tapjara level 28.)Killed a alpha raptor level 4 with 36000 hp, she was so glad because it killed her level 70 raptor, (on the island in the footpaw( the ten year old was me btw) (tapjara name is redwood we love goIng to the redwoods plus her colors are like the redwoods(no one died btw just two raptors)

Get it’s attention by shooting it with a bow and stone arrow. Next, as it is charging at you, pull out a bola and when it gets close, bola it. Then, hit it with tranq arrows. (3-7) Finally, the easy way to take it is narcroberries and raw meat.

Use a bola and hit it with a club

Bola then hit from the side with a club.

This cannot be screwed up unless you walk into its face.

Raptors are basically devils in packs up to 5, but you rarely see any more than that. If you see one and you want to tame it,use a bola.Its not worth it to use stronger.What i do, if i want the females i just take out the males.The good thing with raptors is that they stay in a pack so you can keep an eye on them all at once.
