U ppl r saying these things r terrors and hard to tame u don't need chitin armor I had hide and I used a bat without a bola one I used my fists on! I almost never die to these its usually that I fall off a cliff when im chasing it 😑. But these things r great pets u don't needa upgrade weight to ride just have as little of ur weight and possible then its just fine I would upgrade 4 things speed damage health and weight.

So I was looking to tame a raptor I finally found one I tried to bola it I missed it hit the para it was chasing this was a lvl 2... it’s pounced on me and killed me it also killed my parasaur with a saddle her name was red I couldn’t find where her stuff was so I lost a saddle and my ride that I mainly used, I have tamed one of these tho it almost killed me I was about half health it wouldn’t go into the trap but thank god it started attacking a ramp I shit at it with my tranq arrows and it knocked out and I had to go back to base to get meat and I tamed it I had about 210 health at that time it pounced on me too so I almost died like I said I named her swamp cause her colours are dark swampy green and a light-ish swampy green and then a very light blue I thought the name Swamp suited her so yeah it kinda sucked and I don’t have a saddle yet

When you encounter a Raptor, it's better to throw a bola on him and put him to sleep with tranq arrows. It has really low torpor and you can take him out in three shots. Once he's asleep you can kill him or get away safely.

Found alpha raptor and I killed him. It took a sword and a tamed pteranodon. The pteranodon named was terry. R.I.P terry.

Raptor can sense you from far away and i dont recommend getting any closer to it if you love your life, if you are pro enough to kill it you can, however the starter out there that read this must know it, these monster are savage killer when it spot you, he bite and hack you using its sharp claw, escaping from these guy recommend a high speed, so i suggest to upgrade your speed when you got your point after leveled up.

Even at high level their strong it broke through my metal armor and killed me and it wasn't even a alpha so it took me a while to reach my bronto with my cargo

Do not underestimate the alfa. Two alfas (lvl 3-4) attacked my base and killed my two low level Rex's, argentavis, triceratops, as well as a few other herbivores. It took more narco bullets than I could count to kill it after unloading all my ammo. One ran off, the other was finally killed. Was a sad day. Oh, and they broke through my stone walls.

I kill alpha Raptors in like three hits with my therazino.

When encountering a raptor run AROUND it because it will just watch u or spin and have a melee and AND YOU CAN KILL IT once I did what this says and it gave me a crossbow a metal hatchet

Either your worst enemy or your best friend. They are really good in combat and can immobilise small creatures if you run out of bolas.

If you find a raptor or an alpha raptor next to your base, get out through the opposite side with nothing but a bow and a stone arrow. Shoot once, and then run away from your base. The raptor should follow and will probably kill you unless you outrun it, which will be difficult early on. You'll lose the bow unless you plan to tame or kill it, which can be done with a bola unless it's an alpha raptor, as alpha's are immune to bolas

I saw her attacking my base, lvl 30, tamed her and now almond is lvl 67

If raptor alpha out base then just keep trying kill it eventruly it die and also get it to have trukes attack with and stuff wild wons

Trike are best for alpha raptor hunt just timing attack and you gain levels

Even a low level alfa raptor can easily kill you and/or your tames. Sometimes the best thing to do is to pick a tame to sacrifice or sacrifice yourself if you don't want to watch it slaughter all your dinos.
