I encountered a alpha raptor, he tore down my wooden walls and killed all my dodos, I’ve of course died for trying to save my babies. I stood up on my stone house and shot it, I was a noob at that time. Tried to tame it (didn’t know it couldn’t happen) so I cheesed it from on top with my Trang arrows, over 30 of them.

It’s recommended to build your house in a material that it can’t break

One time me my dilo,and lvl 29 dodo were walking around the beach and a one of these killed both my tames and I survived 1like =1 RIP for kill accepted and mandible

For beginners, run away if you get a pop up saying you’re in a dangerous area. It’s probably one of these guys ready to rip your throat out

Don’t push your luck with these guys. If they see you, you’re screwed unless you have adequate weapons and/or a flyer. These guys… these are the soldiers of ark.

Once, I saw a alpha raptor teleporting to parasaurs and instantly killing them. Don’t call them velociraptors, they are utahraptors. And the utahraptors WILL kill you.

These are a pain in the butt for bobs

These guys are literally scum of the earth!! I was trying to take a level 210 griffin and they decided to come up and kill it when it was at around 95 percent through with taming I want to cryy

There’s this glitch that happens to me where, if I get pounced by one of these suckers, I go to my inventory a couple times and the raptor gets off of me. I’m on mobile.

A bola can end a regular raptor, but alphas are a different story.

To kill at low level, use a bow in your main and spear/pike in your off hand. Try shooting it from a distance at first so you can land more arrows on it, then finish it with a spear. With low level raptors you can even take it on with just a spear, but you’ll need to level up ho a bit first.

If you're being chased my raptors (or anything raptor sized really) run into deep water and go down below them, they should swim away in a couple seconds and you should be able to swim away free. Good luck to all the beginners!! 😁

ALPHA RAPTORS CAN FORM A PACK OF NORMAL RAPTORS????

Sometimes multiple will pull up on you

These guys, for some reason, can't beat turtles. Several times I have seen a 1v1 between a level 30 raptor and level 10 turtle, turtle is barely standing but the raptor goes down regardless. So if you see ONE fighting a turtle, it's a lost cause.

Got a raptor attack hide in a swamp and gets an anduconda to follow you and get them to fight

So when I was taming one (about 3 minutes from when this was put on here) I went to dododex to see how much raw meat it needs, so after, I put 9 pieces in it's inventory, and when it was 88.9 % tamed and then a THERIZENOSAUR COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND KILLS IT RIGHT WHEN IT'S TAMED!

If early game and have no mount It is knock out or die as the are so fast.

If your lvl 10 and find one of these being oversized and having a red aura then run as fast as your little stamina lets you run cuz you just encountered an alpha and it WILL hunt you down
