I tamed him with a tranquilizer dar a few times then I gave it meat and then he was mine.

With a fast movement speed and a crossbow with narcotic arrows, you can run from raptors and knock them out in about 3 shots on low levels. That's how I could tame a lot of raptors (as described in my previous tip where I killed a therizino with them)

I think it’s easier to escape from them now because I haven’t seen them knocking me out of my mount for a few days

If you run into one then simply bola it and hit it with a sling shot with rocks it’s the beginners way. I am so happy that I retrieved a raptor and make sure when breeding put them on one pad.

You need a bow lots of arrows and a high rock

Just so you guys know, a bola doesn’t always work against these guys. I don’t know if it just a mobile thing but some bolas don’t seem to work for me; the raptor is stuck for just like 2 secs and then it springs on me and kills me

I tamed a Raptor and I named her Raver she was the best thing ever she was quicker than other raptors and she was so cute I was thinking about getting her a mate so I went looking and there was this SUPER chill looking raptor it was really slow but I underestimated its power I used a bola in it but I was too close to it so this orange raptor that I really wanted pounced on me it had the bola on it but somehow managed to pounce on me and so I went to refresh’s my stuff but I didn’t want my dinosaurs to die so I used my raptor Raver to go get my stuff but as I was gonna walking A WHOLE BUNCH OF EVIL THINGS WERE SPAWNED I ran still on my raptor then all the sudden 2 raptors appear and then I was knocked off then a Scorpion comes and stings me then I watched in horror as I died my raptor running to the others to kill them... I don’t now if she is alive but I doubt it R.I.P raver I will love you always

I have no idea what an alpha raptor is can someone please tell meeee

If you see an Alpha Raptor just take in a trike and try to keep it living long as possible, make sure your riding it though once your trike dies the alpha raptor will gorge on the dead body for as long as it doesn't finish the body hit it with arrows and it will die after about 25-30.

Not sure whether this is a bug or what but the second you get to level 21 they stop showing as dangerous i was trying to tame an equus and all of a sudden raptor was on top of me then whenever i went to get my stuff back there were more raptors everywhere and it still didn’t say dangerous area

You can still hit them when they pounce on you

If you have a bola and a club and a tribe member it is super easy to team this raptor grab meat and it’s yours

If you encounter a raptor next to your base and are under lvl 10, get in front of it and run. You are usually faster than raptors, so once you get far enough away, make it attack something else like a parosaur, run back to your base and it will not come back. But if ur lazy just stay in your base and wait for it to despair.

I killed one of these on day two by stabbing it from my doorway.

Always have a fast and aggressive tamed Dino nearby so they can break you out of the grapple if you’re stomped on

They killed my dodo, my other dodo, my dillo, and my parasaur.I was minding my own buisness and the menace pounced on me. Stay away from them.You don't wanna die.

If u want to escape the raptor, hop on a carbonemys or a rock then bola it. (Fot the carbonemys escape,) hop on the carbonemys and let the raptor attack it. Boom, easy escape plan (also the rock escape method might not work on alpha raptors)

If you find a pack, just run. ‘But I’m high leve-‘ no, run. ‘I have a tame’ run, it will eat you, you again when you come to collect your stuff and your tame in-between spawns. DO NOT MESS.
