U can't tame alphas. They r easy to kill... kinda.

Alpha raptors may seem scary, but a trike or spino in the hands of a decent player will be able to make mince meat out of them no matter the level difference. Why? Because trikes and spinos both have high knockback on fast attacks.

They seem scary, but their only danger is when another carnivore decides to interrupt you. Also any decently strong dino (rex, spino, baryonix, sarco, theri, thyla, etc.) with a level advantage can facetank them 1v1. Past the midgame you shouldn’t have any reason to still fear them.

Once they got you in there sights you’re already dead

Get a argy and kill something then attack alpha raptor if it is low level then you should be fine my argy hade 288 melee and 600 health

Absolutely MURDERED me at low level, if you ever want to go into a new forest area, bring a few bolas and good weapons.

Yo so I was wandering round the island with my parasaurs I was on a para and this raptor came outta no where and pounced on me my paras attacked I hopped off thankfully none of my paras died they died to a trike tho they were some of my best paras! :’)

OMG these birds are soo annoying every time I go tame some thing they always will be a raptor charging and And gets in me kills me and kills me knocked Dino and just walk away

Spawns sometimes on S1 and on the side of S3. It only spawns on the metal islet on S2. Prepare a ton of bolas early game or get your arse and mouth penetrated. And for alphas just the high ground. The HIGH GROUND.

Those may look like a starter tame, but i can assure u they’re not.Today some dudes came to the base i just started and started griffin ( killing my dinos ), the raptor helped so much and we only had 1, at first the and it ended up dying because those guys had some argies and stuff, so they just picked him 😢. But we won using only 1 raptor, 1 pt , 1 anky, and one parasaur, from those guys that had weapons, griffins, argies...I don’t really gotta tell ya that the anky and the parasaur aren’t really helpful at pvping.

Whit the right resources to tame hi. Such as a bola club or tranquilizing arrows you will be no match run for life it Ismaili usually as fast as you

All you need is a ascended pick and full chitin armor to kill one.

If you want to kill these guys quick just bola then and if you have dilos have them target it

Sometimes would find them on the island by the swamp but not in the swamp but the island that is there there would usually be 3 raptors. So be careful of them and also for the alpha raptor because they are strong.

I tamed a horde of raptors about 35 1 alpha raptor came and. Murderedd all my raptors 😡🥺

These guys are so annoying because of their pounce ability and they are just fast. Stay away if you are a noob because you movement speed won’t be enough to outrun them. One of the only animals on ark that I can admit that I love seeing suffer. Whenever I see one attacking a poor monkey or other small creature, I just pick him up with my argy, go out to the middle of the ocean, drop him, and watch him suffer to megladons as much as I have suffered to them

its very terrifying when they chase you since they pounce, they look like deinonychus

they look like a duck on steroids when they chase parasaurs or phiomias, when i first saw them, i was scared because they look like crazy running maniacs
