You can kill an alpha if your on a high level and and have a trike on a high level also ride it and bash the alpha

Easiest way to kill as a beginner is to run into the water and shoot. They can’t follow you there!

This thing is the true Boogeyman of Ark. It has a very distinct sound, they make, so if you hear it, it’s probably a good idea to sprint in the opposite direction and hope it didn’t see you. This bastard and a half can be extraordinarily sneaky, though, and I’ve had several cases of a couple breaking down my dodo coop and murdering them. They tend to travel in packs of at least two, often male and female, so if you see one and kill it or knock it out, don’t let your guard down; there’s probably more. Once came across a pack of seven of these thugs, and they tore up my entire base trying to get to my poor dodos and dilos. Honestly. What did they do to deserve that? :(

i swear, every damn place i go except the island where my base is has these guys. Ive been flying with my ptero a lot and ive seen these everywhere.

How do I get rid of an alpha raptor lvl 6 with 3600 health?

When taming a raptor you have to be careful of your surroundings, when I tried on my first time, two of the came up on me and started attacking me, they have a pounce feature when you are on the floor and can’t move or fight back, you get back up after some time but if you are in a fight with 2-4 of them, you’re screwed. When you’re only up against one of them, once you deal enough damage, start chasing, because they are quick to retreat, feed it any meat when it’s unconscious, my raptor is a nice blueish green, her name is Yoshi.

If it ambushes you and jumps on you your dead I died twice one walking by and then getting my inventory witch I never got on single players.

I found 2 raptor these guys got some nuts the are attacking a trike (quick reminder that trike has 545 health) and I have seen more alpha raptor and any other alpha

Make sure you have spears. At least 3. If your on the beach low level and it sees you run into the water. There is a point where it wont go any further and turn around. You can stay safely out of the way and sink down where it cant bite you while thrusting your spear up at it and killing it. I have done it a total of 7 times. Beware though because alpha raptors dont care and they will swim and attack no matter how far out you go

Get on medium to large creture it will not be able to pounce on you it will do the animion but on top of your Dino and it can’t do dmg

Real men have death wishes. These are NOT to mess around with. They once killed myself and my dodo when I started. I came back recently and beat the sh** out of em.

When encountering an alpha take out the raptors first then get a strong Dino to take out the alpha, it’s useful for prime meat
