In a recent PC (and very soon to console) update these little jerks can now pounce on you...and they WILL. Every. Damn. Time. They knock you off mounts and on you to the ground while they gnaw on your bones...mocking you. They’ve knocked me off an argy and therozinos several times. They’re much more deadly now. Upvote so everyone knows about this new ability. PS...alpha raptors ALSO do this.

Don't go near them in a radius football field

If u want to escape the raptor, hop on a carbonemys or a rock then bola it. (Fot the carbonemys escape,) hop on the carbonemys and let the raptor attack it. Boom, easy escape plan (also the rock escape method might not work on alpha raptors)
