Easy Guide to Taming Raptor.

Before getting started,please have the following:

-1 or more stone bolas(incase if there is a whole pack)

-Club or hands(I require a club)

-Raw meat.You can also have Paursaur Kibble if you want to.

How to tame Raptor:Easy Guide

1.Find a raptor(they can be found at beaches).

2.If you have found a raptor,use the bola.In case if there are more,also throw bola at them.These Dino’s are fast and have an agile attack.Their special attack is pounding on a creature,not letting them move for a bit.They can bite the prey.

3.Use your club or hands to hit a raptor.

4.When it’s unconscious,give the raw meat to the raptor(Note:Raptors that have a high level,for instance,a level 75 raptor.It’s going to be harder to tame.So I recommend you to tame the low level raptors).

5.The bar then will be filled with yellow colour,it’s taming progress.Then the raptor will be tamed.

Ok so most people would go for a bola and a club but here's a more efficient way for people that have enough resources that they can build a trap.(this trap can be used with any building materials but I'm gonna use wood)Ok so first build a 2x2 wood platform/floor and then put one way door ways for all the walls now put doors in them keep open one of the doors. Now pick the side that is opposite of the open door and place a ramp or stairs going into the trap. Now the trap. is ready, lead the creature up into the from the ramp and then run through the open door and then close it. Now you can walk up the ramp and tranq it.

So ya I was exploring and totally forgot to bring my boas I kinda ran into a pack of Raptors so I died

I came back the nex day to get my stuff (with boas this time)

And saw the alpha raptor btw I died again when I relized that boas dont work on the alpha

Ps to tame a raptor use boas and just knock out and put meat and

your done

(READ CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY)

You will need bolas, a bow, 20 tranq arrows, sleeping bag and ofc meat ( or prime meat. Sarco is the easiest prime meat source).

Find a good level raptor, 130 -150 if playing on normal difficulty, 250 - 300 if playing on hard.

Now take out your sleeping bag and sleep.( What it does is that it will starve the Raptor or any other dino even griffin so you dont have to wait very long. So make sure to sleep before taming.)

Attract it and its other teammates (if any) and bola the raptor(s)

Kill off the unnecessary ones and bola your selected raptor again if needed.

Start tranqing at 5s intervals per shot.

After it is knocked out, use soothing balm (if you have it) and give it prime meat (recommended as it is easy to get)

After it wakes up, name it, saddle it up and have fun :).

Raptors are great but tame higher levels because they dont have much weight which can be a pain.

But they are great tames overall

You can kill an alpha if your on a high level and and have a trike on a high level also ride it and bash the alpha

This is how to tame a raptor when u are a newbie first climb up the rock and Bola the raptor,by the way u can get the Bola in lvl10, and hit him with a slingshot and tame em

You can tame it easily, u don't even need any tranq arrows/darts. All you have to do is get a bola and a club, and then find a raptor. Once u have found it, u bola it and then knock it out with the club. After it's knocked out, put some meat in it's inventory, and wait for it to tame. Then enjoy ur new raptor!

Great starter tames, as you move on to endgame tame some 150’s and boom you have a raptor that will be your companion during hard times.

When taming a raptor you have to be careful of your surroundings, when I tried on my first time, two of the came up on me and started attacking me, they have a pounce feature when you are on the floor and can’t move or fight back, you get back up after some time but if you are in a fight with 2-4 of them, you’re screwed. When you’re only up against one of them, once you deal enough damage, start chasing, because they are quick to retreat, feed it any meat when it’s unconscious, my raptor is a nice blueish green, her name is Yoshi.

Not real battle. RAPTOR VS TRICERATOPS! Raptor bite Triceratops! Triceratops use big horn and makes a hole in Raptor. But Raptors Friends come and WIN. VICTORY!!!!

DEFINITELY the best early game tame. Use bolas, then knock it out with Tranq arrows, and if you don’t have those then use a club. Early game it doesn’t have to be super high level, although using bolas and tranq arrows will allow you to tame any level easily.

Remove these things pounce or make them pounce after ATLEAST 5 seconds like i was taming an argy and this one 120 raptor attacked me and pounced. Good thing i had nice armor so i killed it after the pounce. But srsly pls fix this

All you’ll need is a bola and your fists get about 5 for the pack and just in case you miss and then knock them all got and give ur fav one your meat and kill the others

If you want to tame a lot of raptors then go to this island it is to the left of the red oblesk, be careful though because there's also a good amount of theoznaz. Like if helpful

These are literal killing machines!

I killed 2 paraceras all at once with no prob,and an easy tame

Before entering some big fight with that ride, force feed him stimberries ;

It would drop the feed level, and by so, it would provide some kind of automatically force feed (more or less same effect for argentavis, just when you've farmed a corps)

This technic, plus a good saddle would makes you almost invulnerable (didn't tried yet with other tames, honestly)

Works on mobile, no clue for other devices

1 st be lv 7 and unlock bola and sling shot now gather some stone

Now find a raptor now bola it and knock with slingshot after knock put meat and nooow yoooooooou have a raptor!!

If it ambushes you and jumps on you your dead I died twice one walking by and then getting my inventory witch I never got on single players.
