With high damage per second and speed, the Raptor can easily dispatch anything smaller than it! Give it a few friends, and it can take out some of the stronger dinosaurs of the island. These agile lizards will rapidly tear up anything you want them too! Remember to be careful of their relatively low health pool, as they can die pretty fast if you’re not.

I recommend taming a high level male and female then breeding them to make a pack or just tame alot of high levels

Let’s face it they are one of the most annoying creatures but you can use 1 bola and a metal item to kill them.

Taming: exists raptor: we dont do that here

Use the kill raptor quest to find them

Bola (keep a few on hand in case you miss).

Then make sure no other predators are nearby, if they are kill or run.

Feed meat and wait.

Voila you have a brand new raptor. :)

I think the best way to tame this from my opinion is to bola then tranq it then run around looking for ovis while waiting for the rapter to starve and when you got mutton go strait back to the raptor and feed it the mutton, I hope it will tame up quickly. up if you tamed a raptor this way.

they spawn in dangerous areas especially near the snow area and redwoods

These things are so OP, i just tamed 5 with exactly 12 tranq arrows and some prime meat, on my way back set them to attack 2 stegos 2 brontos and a trex in the dead zone on ragnarok and they dealt with them in a matter on seconds they are so good and are easy to get but be wary as the pack leader is 70> and is an alpha but it was attacking a stego anyway so i KO’d it 👍

If you're on mobile and you want to breed them you will need a eriee candy to use on the baby raptor in order to get a 100% imprinted raptor.

If you don't use a candy you will only get 97%

For knocking them out use a bola and then use a club or tranq arrows to knock them out. Any level nine can do this if they are brave enough. You will need around 20 raw meat and you can tame easy. Then learn a raptor saddle and rule the ARK

You can press on the look around button (if you're on Xbox 1) to use the raptor's Direwolf-like ability.

If you run into a raptor and escape. WELL DONE. But they will stay around the area where you lost them. (I have learnt this from past experiences 😓) they will stay there until they are lead away by ethier a person (this is when you tell your friend to go outside and run because a raptor is chasing them🤣) or a dinosaur.

At lower levels, bola it and beat the ever living shit out of it with a club.

One day I was mindin’ my own when my future best friend came rushing at me. He tried a pounce, but I threw a bola at him. I fought off a Carno just for a Raptor. I was a low level, but managed to tame him, I named him after one of my buddies who likes raptors.

ATTENTION! tip for beginners, if you want to tame a raptor but suffer with bad luck of it being too far away from your house or if creatures attack it while unconscious get an eqqus or equus wtvr lol but it’s a horse, make sure to get a saddle for the horse because it’s important. Open the inv of the horse you will see craft “ lasso” its easy to craft just a little fiber and thatch make at least 3-6 if your base is far. Ride your horse and aim your lasso at the sleeping raptor and when you get it you can just move the raptor to your base while riding your horse it’s a useful tip because my raptors always died when unconscious or I was stupid and didn’t bring enough meat or narcotics sooo yeah.. also the higher the level of the horse the better

Don't worry alpha versions of these creature DON'S POUNCE so you don't have to worry about being dismounted from your tame

Use a bola and a crosbow the long bow probably will kill the raptor
