For beginners: bola it and hit it from behind. Feed it meat. Bring narcoberries in case. Fast and deadly mounts. Very useful

Me and my tribe mate just knocked it out by hands... not even knocked off mounts got off and tamed it easy it was lvl 20...

I tamed one of these at lvl 16 - so easy just craft a bola, run up to it, bola it, and start punching! Using normal raw meat only took ten minutes and it only ate 10 pieces! Hope this helps xx

I tamed one literally the day I wrote this! Best starter animal, and ride it for a speed boost. Cannot jump on critters during ride.

If you see one of these, stay far away. If it runs at you and you can’t kill it, you dead, especially if it’s an alpha or in a pack. Your only hope is if you find something that’s strong and will attack it back. Even if the raptor/ raptors kill it, you’ll still have enough time to get away.

Tame it by bola and and use tranq arrows and it eats raw meat

I love my raptors i travel in packs with them i have two males and two females all level 220. They are fast and they save me constantly. They are a pain when untamed but once they are on your sode your unstoppable to a point

Tame a raptor and a few troodons. You shouldn't have much trouble keeping food on the table.

The best thing to do is just hatch one. I have a raptor level 168 hatched from an egg imprinted 54%. It is op. It can kill a 100 brontosaurus easy. Hardly takes any damage.

This a a tip on how to tame a Raptor. Raptors commonly spawn in dense jungles, beaches, and mountains. First craft a couple bolas because there might be a pack, then find the raptor bola it I prefer either, club, slingshot, or tranq bow. Once knocked out you should either give it raw meat or if you have raw prime meat that works better. Wait until tamed and craft a saddle, the saddle is unlocked at level 18. I will make much more this is my 2nd one!

Super easy early game tame. All you need is a bola, a club, some meat, maybe a few narco berries. I was able to tame a level 7 teck raptor within 2 in game days (she's super pretty and I don't care about levels at the moment).

Don't let these guys get close otherwise you'll be pounced on and you get to watch your health drain.

It does however take knowledge of various game mechanics to make the tame easy.

If you hold the attack button they hit crazy fast.

45-60 damage per second and if you try hitting a training dummy you’ll see that it’s dps is kinda higher than most medium size carnivores like carnos and barys which is because each bite it does deals 15 damage twice making it 30 per bite, and they can pretty much do 2 bites per second thanks to the quick cooldown.

Use simple or parasaur kibble and shoot its face 31 times with a crossbow loaded with toxicant arrows

How to tame a raptor without a trap! by ARKDude

Step 1: reach lvl 21, craft at least ten tranc arrows for low level, probably around 20-25 for high level.

Step 2: make a ton of bolas just in case there’s a pack you didn’t see or if you miss.

Step 3: find it, ooh baby find i-it (come and get your lo-ove)

Step 4: stand there, very still, as you charge your bola.

Step 5: when it runs towards you, at a safe distance, bola it.

Step 6: knock out with trancs.

Step 7: put around 10-20 narcotics in there and 2 times that amount worth of normal raw meat.

Step 8: protect it as it tames.

Step 9: whistle it on passive so it doesn’t try and kill dilos or other raptors (I lost a lvl 20 raptor like this, cause I didn’t whistle passive)

Step 10: if all goes well, you’ve got a raptor! Congrats!

Step : 6 shoot the raptor every 3-5 seconds til it gets

knocked out... step : 7. Feed the raptor normal meat or prime meat .. prime meat is better.. feed it narcotics or narcotics berries so it doest wake up while still in the feeding process. Step : 8 gather materials for a raptor saddle or if you have one just wait and if there's danger around make spike walls around the raptor... once it's tamed put the saddle on and destroy the spike walls then ride away

Hope this is helpful. I had a raptor named hunter he had 960 health and he does 40 damage per hit he's amazing... he can catch up to any dino and he can carry 225 kilograms he's amazing when I was taming him he had 800 health at first but he Gyatt an extra 160 health once he tamed...

If you play ark get to at least 114 % speed or else they'll catch you... if you dont then run to the nearest trike, parasour, carbyonemys, or iguanodon If you can and let the raptors aggro to the dino... then run away... second way is by bolawing it and run away... 3rd way is to swim away to another island and run off cause they aren't fast swimmers and they'll de aggro to you... the 4th way is by mounting a flyer like a pteranadon or argy and flying away.
