Overall good beginner tame. To tame just jump on a tall rock that the raptor can’t jump on. Grab a bow/crossbow and shoot it with tranq arrows in the head. When it’s knocked out put some narcs in it, you can use narcs or Narcoberries. Keep feeding narcs so it won’t wake up. When it’s hunger gets to about half or so feed it raw meat, if you want it to tame faster then feed raw prime meat. Make sure the meat is raw, if it is cooked it won’t tame as fast. Then when the bar hits 100% and the raptor stands up, it is your Dino. Boom now you have a raptor. When you reach lvl 18 you get the saddle to ride it (atleast on mobile) and it isn’t that expensive to make. I suggest health and attack but if you don’t have a base yet and you are just wandering around then I suggest doing weight as well. If you tame them and get mutations and get a pack of 20 mutated, then you can demolish many different things that caused you trouble before except a giga of course. But yea this is for all the noobs who wanted to tame a raptor. Hope it helps!

Easier to breed than dodos! You just put them in a one by one wood railing which is easy because you can ride them and then put them on wander! Piece of cake!!!

People see these as useless once you get past around lvl 50 but leveled they are amazing. They attack super fast they can run and if you have a pack they shred alphas to pieces.

Bolas are the best thing to use when taming a raptor.

Be careful when your traveling rideing with ur creature if u see a pack of raptors avoid then do not try to kill them with your mount it will use pounce attack and drag u down from ur creature

if you are being attacked by a raptor you shouldnt just run, but check your surroundings, unless something killed them there will always be more raptors closeby, if you can bola one, despite they're fierce deminer they are quite easy to tame, however you should watch out for alphas as they are quite common and will take out your level 29 carno named pedro.

If you want a good raptor tame a decent FEMALE raptor then get a somewhat good male raptor mate them try to get a male baby raptor then level up as much as possible your male kid and. Hear me out mate the son and mom to get a godlike raptor. That little mofo killed brontos alone

Good army for start, mid game. I have tamed 20 between levels 3 and 29. We've taken down 6 Carnos, 8 brontos 8 therizinosaurus, 10 Chalicotherium, 8 sarcos, 10 raptors, 3 rexes and many more. Rip to Sally and Joe who i lost today. 😢. Good way to tame is a tranq arrow to the head.

Once I was minding my own business and a raptor jumped on my boat house and tried to attack me (there is a glitch when you drive a boat things can’t hurt you) so i brought it to my base so my triceratops could kill it and it glitched through the floor into the water grabbing onto me, I thought that was the end but then my pet dodo came and got it off me and distracted it so I could get on land. R.I.P dodo, you are my saviour.

If you see a raptor jump on a metal stone because they have a hard time getting over them

I just killed a lvl 6 alpha raptor with my lvl 52 pteranodon, took me 30 minutes or more I think

This very easy to tame just follow these steps

1 craft bolas you need about 3-5 because they usually spawn in packs

2 bola it and and hit with club/fist till it’s nocked out

3 give it meat and wait for it to tam if the torpor gets low feed it black berries

Bear Trap + Tranq Arrows = Sleepy Raptor

High Ground + Tranq Arrows = Sleepy Raptor

One killed my first ever not dodo Dino penny the parasaur and I got so annoyed coz I was just hunting for ants for chitin and I got jumped on and died so I made a grave 1like = 1 RIP penny

Just a heads up if you find a alpha raptor then be ready to use at least 200 tranquilizer darts.

If you roll up on a pack of raptors, you need bolas, tranq arrows, and a big nerve to go up against these things. A solo raptor can’t even make a trike bloody but a back of 4 and wipe 6 trikes. To tame them, bola all of them and knock out the lowest level first, then knock out the higher level, the smaller the pack the weaker. Then tame them up and they are stronger than what they once were
