All you need is a bola and meat bola the raptor depending on the level you might need bio toxins or narcotics and feed it meat raw and boom (Mobile)

Find one and single it out because typically they’re in packs of 3-4. When it’s chasing you, bola it because it runs ina straight line. Then it should be easy to knock it our with a club, slingshot, or even fists depending on level. Or use about 1-3 tranq arrows on a low level and more for a high level

Raptors often are called early Mount but I love it for mid game, especially when you leveled up speed and melee dmg cause they can get pretty strong

It's very easy to bola one when it charges at you, they just run straight at you and then you bola it in the face. Then go ahead and kill it or tame it.

Today I was exploring the place suddenly a raptor come to that place I have a single bola I throw it on raptor it gets stop I use tranq arrows it gets unconscious I fram some meat for raptor I access he is inventory and put the meat after 15 minutes it get tame

make sure you know where it is and when it sees you don’t chicken out this is the important part when it comes at you don’t run don’t move start swinging your bola throw your bola and use tranq arrows hope this helps 😊

On Abb the FIRST thing you want to do is get yourself a moschops, gain some levels and as soon as possible, tame a raptor, this is especially useful in the portal room that has a lot of high level raptors but also has basilisks, up your speed to 120% to outrun raptors and use your raptor to kite and dangerous dinos to max level paracers or stegos and you basically have the ultimate weapon as long as you make sure your raptor has good stam and decent health, my level 200 has saved my butt from multiple basilisks now

I don’t care what anyone says about raptors they are op in my eyes mine is fully inprinted and is level 250 and can solo a alpha anytime and the maybe a few of them can even take down a overseer so pls dont them less credit because of the ones you find on the beach or forests pls give them a chance and you will see what I mean so and remember there name means big brain so if you use them you will be big brain so I hope you enjoyed my tip

Taming Raptors

Step 1:climb on a high rock with a bola if you can get one.

Step 2: Use the bola and shoot with narc arrows or a slingshot.

Step 3: It should be knocked out so give it raw meat or raw prime meat.

Final Step: Wait for it to be tamed and you have a new raptor.

If they pounce on you you can spam the attack button and it will push them off but run they will do it again

Ps. Not sure if it works on console i only know this works on mobile

Overall good beginner tame. To tame just jump on a tall rock that the raptor can’t jump on. Grab a bow/crossbow and shoot it with tranq arrows in the head. When it’s knocked out put some narcs in it, you can use narcs or Narcoberries. Keep feeding narcs so it won’t wake up. When it’s hunger gets to about half or so feed it raw meat, if you want it to tame faster then feed raw prime meat. Make sure the meat is raw, if it is cooked it won’t tame as fast. Then when the bar hits 100% and the raptor stands up, it is your Dino. Boom now you have a raptor. When you reach lvl 18 you get the saddle to ride it (atleast on mobile) and it isn’t that expensive to make. I suggest health and attack but if you don’t have a base yet and you are just wandering around then I suggest doing weight as well. If you tame them and get mutations and get a pack of 20 mutated, then you can demolish many different things that caused you trouble before except a giga of course. But yea this is for all the noobs who wanted to tame a raptor. Hope it helps!

Even if you can’t ride them (if you have a lot of weight like me), these tames make great escorts. About 5 of them should do, but the more, the merrier.

To the lv 64 guy with the alpha raptor:

put 25 stone in your most useless tame's inventory.

If you have a flyer, use it to grab said tame with the stone.

(If not, hope for the best)

Shoot the raptor once to get its attention.

Hop on the flyer, grab the game, and leave with the raptor following you.

At a good distance drop the game and let the raptor attack it.

The stone is left behind in a satchel which the raptor cannot destroy but will attack forever.

If you have unlimited tribe members on your server recommend you tame 2 opposite gender and breed a ton of them also if your server has a max of 85 or 95 or 100 players on it becuase these guys can win a tribe war with ease if you have 80 of these guys with saddles for your tribe mates

If u see a low level raptor running towards u, hit them with a tranq arrow. It should torpor run before it kills u with its pounce
