Prolog

As Jonathin walked along an old, dried up river, he thought the days he had spent in the Arks, and wondered what was happening there. Every time he heard the screech of a bird, he expected it to be an Argent. He faintly remembered in these last days of his life, a demonic red dodo with black wings, and crossing it, like a hazy image, a jet black dodo with a white face and a red patch of feathers on it’s head’s peak. Bok the Killer Dodo.
