When you see one attacking something wait till it is collecting meat and then bola it and hit it with a club or tranq arrows. It’s club attack behind it

Just go into the forest trying to explore. Guaranteed random raptor will come and attack you

If you start a new island I would recommend trying to get a raptor early as they are good hunters and only need a bowler and wooden club to tame. I would recommend taming at least 3-4 raptor as they will then have a pack boost in health and damage. If you get a pack early your going to be safe for a while.

If you see one crouch and if he far enough just run theres mo hope unless you have high lvl and good gears then fight it or tame it i prefer using sling shot

When trying to build a raptor pack for protection or whatever you need it for. Tame a male and female raptor ( may bye even two females) and breed till you have as many raptors as you want.

I play in mobile brutal mode and hardcore(2x gather efficiency) so if you're looking on how to tame lvl 400+ this is what you should do,

Bola a raptor and trap it with fence foundation all sodes then put some walls. I tamed one early game around lvl 11 after i get my ascendant bow and got my tranq arrow from drops by killing predators,ec pc

Make sure you have around 60 for worst case but if you do headshots it needs less. I recommend starve taming so that the raw prime meat won't get spoiled

Raptors are very good early game creature 1.hit with Bola

2.hit with club to knock out

3.feed

Now enjoy your new raptor

Tame a raptor

Step1 knock it out

Step2 kill the rest of its pack and feed meat

Step3 kill anything around it

Step4 get a saddle

If it gets up repeat the steps

was like "Oh a level 5 -alpha- raptor. C'mon Carnage(my raptor), let's show this guy who's the real alpha"

Lost my raptor, my other raptor when I went back to get my stuff, gave up on whatever I had in my inventory and got mauled by a normal raptor when I respawned random because my bed is in high CD

I'd rather fight an alpha carno and alpha rex than this b*tch.

Killed the alpha raptor with my ptera but then, few days later a fricking theri sliced my ptera to death. So I deleted that save and started a new playthrough.

Lesson: Don't mess with alpha raptors. And get the **** away from places with theri spawns.

This is a utility guide for raptors!(check my taming tip and please by the way this is for mobile players)first of all they are fast and have a pretty decent damage for their size they can't carry too much but can be leveled up for that,they spawn in packs of at least 2 and gets pack buffs(if i'm right)they can be saddled at level 18(as I remember)and can be tamed rather easily they have a normal bite attack AKA the primary attack and have the ability to pounce onto smaller creatures,swipe down on the left side of your screen to pounce,they love meat and will be a good companion for early game!

Get some bolas find the one you wanna tame(if you don't want the others)raptors always spawn in packs,if there's one there's always another one near it,kill the other raptors or lead the one you wanna tame away(killing the others is better) bola it and if you're super low level get a club and beat it's butt (ayo I didn't mean that)or use a bow and tranq arrows to get it unconscious,feed it raw or prime meat or mutton,for better gaming feed it simple kibble or parasaur egg kibble in aek mobile,BOOM you got a raptor!

If you want to tame quickly, you can sleep near the raptor, then shoot it and give it thigh meat [easy]

How to tame a raptor:My personal method

Required - 3 bolas(just in case) some regular meat(24 or more) and a slingshot

Taming:

Step1: Find a raptor

Step2:Aggro it from a distance

Step3: Bola it

Step 4: Use your sligshot and hit it in the head

Step5:Give it the meat when it's sleeping or you could wait til it gets hungry enough so it will comsume the meat all at once

And Boom! you have a raptor.Just remember you don't have to up it.Someone could have a better method but this tip is for noobs like me.

How to tame raptor

1 get bolas(8)

2 get tranq arrows(20)

3 get meat(40)

4 find raptor

5 bola raptor

6 knock out raptor

7 put meat in raptor

Now you have a raptor

Step two: punch the end of its tail so i can't hit you. low level recomended

Use Tranqdarts the higher the level the more tranqdarts use cooked meat or prime meat

They are annoying when they’re not on your Side. running into them all the time is probably why I’ve tamed over 25 of them. right now they are the most tamed Dino that I have in ark.

Really underrated creature on abberation people will just go straight for Rachel’s instead, but having a few of these guys while running in the blue zone can save your life, and I suggest taming at least three and have them follow you when you leave your base.
