How to tame raptor

1: get bola

2: get meat to feed raptor

3: find raptor

4: bola raptor

5: hit with cub/fist until gets knocked out

6: put meat in inventory

7: enjoy your raptor

Raptors are one of the best starter tames to allow you to progress in the game. They are easy to tame using a bola and few tranquil arrows or club, and they are very good scouts, combat creatures, and travel mounts!

So i was in west zone 2 with my pteranodon and I spot a lvl 105 raptor on its own so I am like “why not tame one” so I go back to base and get everything i need to tame it and then I go back to west zone 2 for the raptor I tried to lead it to a safer area by attacking it with my pteranodon but when I was leading the raptor it aggravated on a lvl 100 something carbonemys and they fighted in the water and the carbonemys had 2 times it’s health but the raptor actually won and made it out alive with over half its health

First you need a bola(craft a few in case you miss)

Find and bola a raptor and slingshot it's head until it's unconscious and put meat into its inventory

Raptors are really easy to kill

Just use sword or shotgun

When they're not set to follow you, they follow the alpha. This is great to keep them together when the are on wonder.

Wanna know where you can find a high level raptor. Answer is, everywhere. Jokes aside you can find some pretty high level raptors at southern islets along with some tickle fingers. Beware they move in packs!!!!! 👆👆👆

First craft tranqs

Craft a few bolas just in case

Find bola a raptor

Tranq out use bio toxin not narcotics

Meat or prime meat

Then what’bang what’s boom new raptor

use tranq arrows and shoot it twice or so while its attacking something and give it meat, quickest fastest way! :)

Taming

Easy!

Step 1: get bola

Step 2: balo the raptor

Step 3: then punch it

Step 4: when it’s knocked down then put prime meat or raw meat

AND BOOM U GOT ONE!

On mobile they CAN fit through doorways, just saying that rq!

They harvest meat and they are good for basic offense and defense. Pack bonus if you have three or more with alpha being highest lvl.

Very good early game tame. Good for taken out small dinos and getting around. They also are good as a defense for you while gathering resources early game. Saved me multiple times from random carnavoris

It is easy to find one just never do the raptor hunt accomplishment. And there location want to show up on the map and 2-10 arrows depending on the level and I would recommend a crossbow for levels over 25 gun for levels over 75 Trank darts And a knockout animal for any higher than that

For those who don't know, on mobile if you swipe down will riding a raptor you will do the pounce jump.

Do not place level 27 tek parasaur near. I learned that the hard way. I still miss Rodney
