Best way to combat these guys is if you have a bola and torch. Bola stops them from moving a torch burns them. If you don’t have a bola a torch can still do some good by itself until you get a bow and arrow or a tame that can fight them easy aka a triceratops or carb or another raptor if you manage to tame one. Remember raptors are pack creatures so….. if you see one there are always more in the area

Guide for ark players who are new if you are looking for raptors then you will need about 5 bolas slingshot or bow with da Tranq arrows if there’s a alpha and your low level don’t bother till higher level they spawn more in the redwoods

If you encounter an Alpha Raptor, lead it into deep water and make sure it doesn’t go to the shore, get on a rock (if there is one) and you can bow it if you are on the rock or try killing it with a sword or something else

This thing is easy to tame!

You will need:

1. 5-6 bolas (just in case you miss or if there’s a pack)

2. 20-30 Narco/toxin (just in case if it gets conscious to quickly)

3. Bat (or use your fists)

4. Tranq arrows (only use these You don’t wanna kill it)

5. 12-30 meats (raw prime meat could be good too)

Now you are packed! Let’s get started now. Here’s some methods:

Method 1: find a raptor and bola it. Tranq the raptor and begin punching. Once it’s knocked out, feed it the meat you packed. After a few moments, it’s tamed!

Method 2: find a raptor and go to a high place and start shooting it with tranq arrows and bolas. Go down there and punch from the back. Once it’s knocked out, feed it the meat you packed. After a few moments, it’s tamed!

For huge noobs like me you might find a raptor.Then the raptor notices you.Then it attacks you.Then you try to tame it.Then it attacks you.Your weapon breaks.Then it puts its big fat body on you.then it rips your head off.That’s what always happens to me! I’ve wanted to tame one for along time. There was one on the other side of the island but I was to scared to go. But then it randomly popped up on my island after I woke up and I summoned up all my courage to throw a bola at it. I then shot some tranq arrows (about 4 with a bow) and I grabbed a soothing balm and gave it some meat and it was a instant tame. I got a saddle for it and I named him (well it’s a her) smokescreen because of his gray color.

feed it parasaur kibble it tames so quick here is the instuctions on how to make it: 1 parasaur egg, 1 cooked meat, 2 rockarrots, 2 mejoberries, 3 fiber, a full waterskin and a cooking pot. cook it and craft bola, find raptor (you can figure that out) bola it quick, hit it VERY quick it escapes fast then put kibble in inventory, and BAM! you got raptor! PASSIVE NEUTRAL OR AGGRESSIVE?

If you are a late gamer you should know that these rats are aggressive. They attack anything they can even challenge Rex’s and what not. They are extremely dangerous for early gamers so make sure to keep distance because if you step foot in their face you will get slapped- 😭

TAMING - these rats are easy to tame. Just get a few bolas if you miss or there is a pack. Just bola that bad boy and knock it out with tranq arrows or just a simple club. Once you have done so it will be knocked out and just put some meat inside. Then boom you have yourself a raptor.

USES THEY HAVE - they are really fast and op. Have a pack of them and you can harvest a bunch of Dino’s. They are amazing travelers as they are fast and have a speed advantage against other dinosaurs such as the tank turtle. They are good for early gamers as if you want them to protect your base, travel, or simply just want them as a lap dog- *AHEM* as a pet- 😅

So once I had 2 dilos and I named one Spitty and the other OP

So I was going out to the beach when a raptor attacked me and I was able to knock it out but spotty and OP died in the progress, but I got a buetiful powerful raptor.

If your a low level you’re going to get mauled by this guy he legit jumps you and there’s nothing you can do other than watch yourself die

All you need to level up is health, weight, stamina and damage. Maybe some speed scattered around but it’s naturally fast enough to outrun most dinosaurs.

The Raptor is a creature that can stick with you for a long time. They are still useful even when far into late game, their pounce ability can subdue even the most bloodthirsty of raiders as they watch helplessly as your raptor uses them as a chew toy. A solid addition to anyone’s stable.

Here’s how to tame a Raptor, it’s very easy! Also, I did how to defeat an Alpha Raptor, you can check it out! Ok, here it is:

First of all, bring some bolas, nothing wrong with bringing more in case you miss or there’s a pack!

Secondly, bring 30-50 raw meat, never tried it with raw prime meat, though.

Also don’t forget the narcotics, you can bring a club, or if you wanna shoot from a distance, bring a bow or crossbow, with some stone arrows, of course! You can hit it with your fists from the back, too.

When you’re ready, go to an area where raptors are located, I have some suggestions, like, Carno Island, or the shores of Cragg’s Island, Cragg’s Island is where my base is in ark mobile, and I usually find a lot of raptors there, also there’s some carnotosaurus, but they’ll eventually stop spawning if you build something there. Nevertheless, when you find a Raptor, bola it, then knock it out with whatever weapon you have, or punch it with your fists in the back, you can bola it, even when it’s still stuck because of the bola on it to reset the bola timer. When it’s knocked out, put the meat in its inventory, and… when it is tamed… congrats! You now have a Raptor! Raptors are very easy creatures to tame! To tame these yoy need a bola or hig place and a sling shot or tranq arrows and a wooden club and enjoy your raptor

How to rule the island:

Step 1: Kill all your other games

Step 2: Formulate a method to tame these guys that suits your strategy

Step 3: Tame as many of these guys as you can

Step 4: train them until they each have 10 levels in health, 10 in speed, 10 in melee, 10 in stamina, and 10 in hunger

Step 5: Make sure they all wear saddles

Step 6: Unleash fear into all your foes, knowing that they are useless once your raptors be-a-pouncin’

These death rates can only pounce on you for a short amount of time depending on their level if your a high level with lots of health then eventually you will be able to survive if you’re a newbie your dead meat
