Here is an easy way to tame raptors:

1) Craft a bow

2) Craft a mortar & pestle & craft tranq arrows with narcotics

3) Craft multiple bolas (4-5 just to be safe)

4) Go near forests or an open, grassy biome and search for a raptor

5) Walk up to it, wait for it to come at you, and bola it when it gets in range (run away or kill it if it's level doesn't meet your expectations)

6) Shoot it every 5 seconds so that it doesn't take too much DMG and it's torpor can rise properly (kill it or run away if you don't like it's stats

6) Feed it raw meat (you can use prime meat, mutton, or kibble) and keep on you narcotics just in case

7) Have fun with your raptor ;p

To tame these yoy need a bola or hig place and a sling shot or tranq arrows and a wooden club and enjoy your raptor

They removed pounce from raptors but if your playing on mobile they can still pounce and aberrant raptors can pounce to no matter what version your on

This might just be a big but I’m not sure so anyway I’ve been playing on the center map and my fav place to go when looking to lv up tames is the lava biom(can’t spell lol) so I went their this with my raptor and hit a tree while hiting a wolf and ended up gathering coal, pretty cool and just to check if it was just a random occurrence i tamed another raptor and hit another tree and boom more coal so if u play on center and are lookin for a fastish way to get coal go to lava biom with a raptor and hit trees, but make sure u bring a raptor with good weight. How to rule the island:

Step 1: Kill all your other games

Step 2: Formulate a method to tame these guys that suits your strategy

Step 3: Tame as many of these guys as you can

Step 4: train them until they each have 10 levels in health, 10 in speed, 10 in melee, 10 in stamina, and 10 in hunger

Step 5: Make sure they all wear saddles

Step 6: Unleash fear into all your foes, knowing that they are useless once your raptors be-a-pouncin’

These death rates can only pounce on you for a short amount of time depending on their level if your a high level with lots of health then eventually you will be able to survive if you’re a newbie your dead meat

The aberration branch are not affected by the bola... You have been warned.

You can bole the raptor and then shoot it with anything that causes torture and feed it raw meat or prime raw meat works perfectly fine but prime meat is better

This thing is actually very easy to tame. All you need is a slingshot with around 20-30 ammo and 2 bolas(prepare some meat to tame).

You're likely find them in a group of 3. Lite one out and bola it while it sprinting towards you, then fire 4-5 shots and bola it again. Make sure there's no threats around the area, it will take around 5 minutes to tame.

If you run into a raptor stay crouched wen the pounce on you quickly

Un crouch and it will miss the pin.

Okay well I was peacefully climbing up a mountain to find a rex I was a newbie just crafted my first axe (hey it is fun to get killed sometimes)when I saw some raptors I decided to get out of there but one raptor snuck beside me when I was distracted by another and 3!!! Raptors chased me I started smacking a red one with my fists but I then realized I could not win the fight and RAN FOR MY FREAKING LIFE!!!!! I started running with half of my health gone and injured.and about a minute later I could see safety 40 feet away when I was jumped on by a raptor i my final moments all I could see was the jungle dust a raptor and a almost dead body so that was my story

How to tame

1, Get a bola, 71836 reccomended amount.

2, Use bola on raptor(s)

3, Use a wooden club or slingshot

4, feed meat

5, Solve the Collatz Conjecture in the few minutes you have to wait.

6, whatever

How to tame:

I’m going to try to remake “Tame: Raptor.”

1: Collect 15 Raw Meat

Raw meat will work effectively better than cooked meat.

2: Craft Slingshot

This is ideal for knocking your future tame out.

3: Craft Bola

This will immobilize the raptor, giving you lots of time to knock it out.

4: Find Raptor

An area on your map where raptors roam has been marked on your map. Raptors are normally in a pack, so be careful!

5: Knock It Out

Throw the bola to immobilize the raptor. Then knock it out.

6: Tame The Raptor

Give it some meat and preferably a soothing balm. Make sure to protect your tame.

7: Name It

Raptors are fiercely loyal and are handy for traveling. Make sure to give it a good name!

Rewards: +550 XP, Ascendent Raptor Saddle, Journeyman Crossbow, 20 Tranq Arrows.

Note: I’m maybe a little too generous.

Okay guys, if you’ve read my other tip (the pachy one) then you know that I have 4 raptors. But the one at the highest level, when I press a button, kind of calls the other raptors and they glow kind of like a alpha raptor. They glow yellowish red and at the corner of the screen, (if you are riding it) it will show green teeth. If anyone knows what this means pls tell me.🧐

Good to breed can make a lot of eggs with a lot of female and one male

This is how to tame a high level raptor

1- craft a wooden cage and put it then open the door and distract the raptor to get inside it

2- after trapping the raptor go to sleep so the hunger bar gets to zero and you can instant tame the raptor

3- after slepping start shooting the raptor with tranq or toxicant arrow until its knocked

4- feed the raptor prime raw meat ir just normal one (if you want the tame effectivens then use prime meat)

5- congrats you have a high level raptor if you found this tips good❤️👍

This is how to tame a raptor:

1- get a bola or craft one

2- get some meat

3- take atleast 5 narcotics for it to not wake up

4 - find one and bola it

5 - hit it with a club

6 - once you knock it out put the narcotics and meat in it

7- wait....

8-boom! A raptor!

Note: I recommend you first unlock tranq arrows, bow and arrows, since these guys do come in packs up to 2 to 5, I knocked mine out with tranq arrows, and it's also more effective.

If you have a bola and a club with a tribe member

1 get tribe member distract

2 bola raptor

3 club

4 tame

If alone

Repeat without distraction or shoot them in the fase with a tranq

Super easy to tame all you need is a bola to stun them and do tranq arrows I recommend a crossbow but a bow is fine and also when you tame them if there’s 3 or more you have tamed they have a pack boost which is some cases can be really useful
