When tamed, these are powerful allies, especially early game. I shouldn't invest in movement speed, carry weight or stamina as they're already fast with a bunch of stamina. Instead, go for health and melee damage. They're useful as hunters and are useful for caves

Generally, you're going to want to invest in stamina and carrying weight for a while if you tame a low-level raptor. They're naturally fast,so you don't truly need many points in movement speed, and you can outrun almost all other predators, so health isn't needed either.

One killed me and I came back and it said it was tamed by me

I just make a trap,

6 wood foundations

8 wooden stairs

10 wooden walls (all on each foundation)

2 wood ceilings

1 ladder

Put the foundation in two rows of three-

⬜⬜⬜ like that but without the space in the middle

Then put the walls around it

After that put 4 stairs on each side of the trap (2 at the top and 2 in the ground)

Then put the 2 wood ceilings in the middle of the trap. (This will cause the raptor to be too big to move, it might stay still)

Put the ladder some where near the ceiling so you can get up on it. So when a raptor is chasing you you can run up the stairs and jump on the ceiling, but aberration would be harder cuz the Raptors jump, but if not on aberration, the raptor should fall in, then go on the ceiling and start tranquilizing it or just hit it, itll become unconscious! (I learned this by experience.)

If you get a posse of these, you can take on practically anything. Even having 15-20 raptors makes any Rex easy to take down if you’ve leveled them up enough. I’d recommend upping their stamina and damage if tamed.

Be careful with Alpha Raptors they will kill every thing and you can’t even tame them. A level two Alpha killed two level 60 raptors of mine and it then killed.

Amazing mount espacially for early or midd game. So easy to tame and very powerful in a big pack.

Mine walked in lava and instead of taking 5000 DPS like my Carno, he only took 15 and 45 DPS.

Just a reminder or tip they can pounce and knock you off your tame. Don't be like me

You actually can roll out of his jumpy attack by pressing space in the right time.

When leveling up a Raptor, try and find a Diplodocus near.

There useful for lots of stuff... hunting, protection, killing aggressive dinos around your base or you have spike walls and there's a neutral dino around you base that's a brontosaurus or a pair of high lvl therizinosaurus ... they have good health after lvl 35 and can do great damage.. they do 1-3 hits a second cause of there amazing attack speed and if you have a pack of em then just go out and kill strong high lvl dinos or alpha raptors and carnos

I managed to tame a level 24 raptor by shooting it once with a dart

Try a bolla to make it stuck and then knock it out tame it with me or prime meat it doesn’t care and then you have a super op tame my one’s name is super raptor
