I was In the snow right where it meets up with the desert on rag and it was flying into the ground it flew straight into my allies mammoth trap pillar and I walked up on it with a wyvern and trapped it and knocked it out

If you are on a solo game use your seconde controller as the shooter(tapejara) and your first controller as the driver and you should be good works great juste dont use the wrong controler lol hope this helps for "solo players" u know what too do so people can see

It's easy to solo tame this dino

The way I tamed mine was pure BS. I used my tapejara to sort of push the quetzal down lower to the ground. Once it was low enough I grappled onto the quetzal and unleashed the tranq darts to its face. The best part is when it tried escaping, it got itself stuck in the trees

Just remember not use cooked fish meat, 150 quetz will gain 2 extra levels eating raw fish meat in almost same time. Don't forget that.

At Island map, tey are near all obis, mlstly near red, but i found lot of them in snow biom too. Best taming way is to grab your friend with any flyer, chase and tranq it. If you are alone and noone likes you the best way is to tame you tapejare, sit in the front seat and let the tapi on aggresive following quetz, if its near set it to passive and tranq it while flying. Or take any other flyer and use hook and do the same passive-agressive thing. Best way of all is tame low lvel one and then bild a trap on it and you can tame how many you want.

Griffins should be your go to for taming Quetz's. You can shoot while riding them, theyre fast and they have good stamina. Get a Griffin with stamina and weight and you can take your first quetz easily. After that you can go for the quartz taming platform.

If you wanna tame one kill a low level and take its creature implant and build trap at obelisk then revive it and tranq it.

Don’t over complicate things, find one, grapple onto argy, whistle attack and the argy will follow, when close whistle passive, shoot quetz, repeat.

Equip your crossbow with a grappling hook. Fly your Argy around and look for a quetzal. After finding, jump off your Argy, and grappling hook it. Whistle attack target on the Quetzalcoatlus and start shooting tranq dart/arrows at the Quetzalcoatlus. Note: Make sure to whistle passive right before the Argy reaches the Quetzalcoatlus so the Quetzalcoatlus doesn’t die.

If you get a platform saddle on your first one make a pen on the back and get a quetzal to fly into it after that block off the entrance with pillars and then knock it out whilst flying to your base

In creative mode with a flying thylacoleo shot off of it and knock out the quets and feed meat got a lv 41 with this method

If u don’t have enough materials to afford the Argentavis saddle, use a pteranodon, grapple to it, and use the Argentavis method, but with a pteranodon. It’s a little shaky at first. But I had knocked one with this, but my quetzal I was taming was eaten by a Allosaurus. Make sure to bring Wooden spikes.

Quetz catcher does the trick

All you need is a tapejara, shit ton of narcotics, and a longneck with darts. Get on the front seat of tapejara while your friend drives it. And keep following the quetz and trying to knock it out. After its unconsious one person gets prime on tapejara while the watches it. GOOD LUCK

For solo players the easiest way I've been able to tame a quetz is by parachuting off of your flying mount and grappling the quetz then just tranq him and parachute agin when he starts to drop

If your looking to tame (or kill) a quez than simply use a grappling hook to stay next to the quez, then just knock it out. When it's knocked out it will fall so bring a parachute.

The Easiest Way Of Taming Quetzals is The following Below!

Tapejara: Have a Friend In The Front Or Back Shooting It.

Pteranodon: Have a Friend Pick You Up And Shoot It.

Argentavis: Have a Friend Pick You Up And Shoot It.

Quetzal: Either Use a Platform And Build a Quetzal Catcher Or Have a Friend Sit On The Quetzal With a Normal Saddle And Shoot It.

Since the tapejara was added, this is the best dino to tame a quetzal with. Have a friend board the front seat and shoot the quetz. Tranq darts are best, but tranq arrows will do too. Once it's KO put spike walls around it and tame it!

To save wyvern milk for a longer period of time, put it in your obilisk section to be transferred. You can keep up to 50 milk for 24 hours in your obelisk at a time!!
