Get a desmodus and fly around and find a queztel. You can use any weapon while riding it so use your crossbow and tranqz and knock it out. Easy.

Tapejara fly close as you can swap seats fire rinse repeat! ( obviously if low level Tapejara focus chilli recommend)

Just shoot it with net falls to the ground then tranq

So here’s a hint for Ark Mobile if you accidentally kill the Quetz u wanna tame.

1. Collect the Creature Implant before harvesting body

2. Make revival platform (cannot be placed on foundations)

3. Place normal Dino gates all the way around with no gaps

4. Grind out amber from the Supply Drops with orange rings around them

5. Place 2 stone foundations in front of each gate (you can still open them as long as YOU’RE not in the way)

6.Place stone doorways or walls right up the gates, then go 2 walls above the gates

7.try your best to cover the top with stone roofs (this is difficult but as long as the hole in the middle looks smaller than the gateways it’s fine)

8. Revive the quetzal

This helped me tame a lvl 80 quetzal after I failed to trap it near the redwoods.

One time me and my brother were trying to tame one of these and it fell into the water and we had to Watch as our freshly tranqed quetz drowned

Let's make this quick,Get A Tapejara Ride it to red Obelisk, Land on red Obelisk find the quetz, get on the passenger seat, target attack to the quetz, eat rare flower, and shoot itu with drugs

Its not that difficult to KO your first quetz. You just need some patience, an Argy with 800+ stamina, some graphling hooks, parachute, a nice rifle and atleast 100 tranq darts in case youre a bad shot. Graple to your Argy, wistle go there or attack target (just dont kill) and keep darting that Quetz.

What is HARD is WHERE it lands when it sleeps. It can land in water which is 100% a waste coz it will drown or it can land in the middle of an Alosaurus turf.

It wont follow you if you pop rare flowers so yeaaa dont bother

Was able to tame one on a mountainside without using any crazy tricks.

Use a Griffin and harpoon gun with net. Make for sure the Quetzal is over land and area below is clear of carnivores.

When you have tamed your 1st Quetzal... Contrats btw ! ...Build a thatch box using wooden doorframes on the Platform saddle.

To tame a 2nd one, simply charge the Quetzal you want to tame and when you got him on the box, Dismount your Quetzal. Then, you can KO him in the box and use my "Air Taming" method.. I did IT once and took me 6 hours.

You can net a quetzal but before you do clear the area of any hazards and hop on you creature and bet it (Make sure you don’t shoot it when it is asleep because when is has the bet on it looks like it’s asleep)

I Used A Griffin For Amy Tame As You Can Shoot Off Their Back And Move At The Same Time. Basically Just Follow Them With Your Griffin And Boom! There’s Your New Flying Chicken Boi

Cheap Quick Tip: Mobile

You only need a Tapejara and Tranqs

Find a tapejara with a decent speed enough to chase a quetz. Since the tapejara saddle has 3 sits, you can switch mid air to shoot it and at the same time regain the stamina of your tapejara(it only regen the stamina if you're on the front or back sit of it's saddle) after regaining the stamina, chase it down and shoot again. Repeat until it's down.

Even using kibble to tame it is a massive committment. Make sure you; have a ton of narcotics, a lot of kibble, and that you're totally unprepared to actually knock it out

1.put a single honey on the last on your tool bar.

2.fly above its head and drop the honey, it will lose interest after about 10 to 15 seconds, keep doing that till it reaches the ground.”it takes about 5 honey”

3.trap it with 2 large gates one side on it’s neck and one behind it’s wings.

And you’re done.

Use a rhiniognatha to shoot it with tranq darts/arrows as you can shoot while in the saddle of the rhinio and if you can't hit it like that then just stand on the rhinios back lol just don't tranq it over water 😂

The real easiest way is to just shoot at it from the back of a griffin. Easy and efficient

PS: that makes the taming part soooo much easier

The easiest way to tame a Quetzin Ark(mobile), find a flat area and place a revive platform and build walls 4 high around and cover it with roofs, preferably somewhere near your base. Go to the red obi there are 2 spawns there sometimes you’ll only find 1. One spawns on the mini islands and one near the obi. Kill the low level ones and MAKE sure to eat it so new ones would spawn after fly 450m+ and keep checking the same spots. Keep doing that till you find a good level kill it and grab the implant. Go to your revive cage and revive it there, note it’s going to cost 35 amber but trust me it’s totally worth it. Rather then it getting unconscious and having a chance for a braindead dinosaur to hit it and loose the level gains, you’ll secure yourself a perfect quetz. Good luck 😉
