This one guy I knew tried to make a base on one of these things after seeing one of his friends spend his life on a mosasour underwater. It did not work in his favor. After spending all his resources he had to land way too many times.

Did you know the quetzal is the biggest bird that used to live on the planet in North America it has the biggest wing spand then any bird you can also get a tek quetzal and bone quetzal to they are all the same but the tek quetzal has more health and can do more damage but the bone quetzal has Way more health then the tek quetzal and more damage then the tek quetzal to

I told someone I would give them a quetz for riot gear an assault rifle and 100 ammo and they agreed. They gave me the gun then I shot em and walked away with my quetzal and brand new gear and rifle.

I found a quetzal and following and shhoting it with tranq darts 3 days later i knock it and then i cryoed out my rex to defend the quetz two seconds later the quetz is dead and my rex called patch had prime meat in him

Just go onto a Tep and mount the passenger seat target the quetzal if it gets to close passive whistle give it time to run target it again and again (I accidentally used stone arrows in stead of tranq arrows RIP me

The quetz don’t rly need the narcotics bc it’s torpor is so high that the drop rate looks slow (but bring some narcotic just in case)

Fatal Fate

I found a nic event colpured blue-red Quetz in the volcano area and now attempted to tame it. It fled towards the snowy mountains and ran right into the arms of an Ice Wyvern and got eaten... It should have let me tame it, then it would have lived longer

When ark was in beta, we lived on the tiny island south of red ob. We were a small group of 4 and had good relations with the group of 30+ who lived in the redwoods. We were the first group to actually tame one of these things. A level 20 quetz. Because everyone wanted one, us taming the quetz sparked a war between the redwood people and those who wanted to kill it when we were taming it. (Quetz landed in redwood when ko'd) many rexes and turtles died that day.

Tamed one by my self with my argy too bad it was starting to fly over the swamp so I had to wait till it was someplace safer to tranq it out. Also any name ideas? The quetz I tamed is female.

So here is a story, I spent hour preparing and looking for one and I found a decent leveled female queztal to make egg for kibble, but it fell into the water at the swamp when I knocked it out. I was very mad that hours of work was lost in a couple of seconds. I would revive it if I found its implant however the dilo ate it. Would making a trap be a good way to tame it after reviving it. Please make a tip about it if so
