I found a 120.0 quetzal platform saddle blueprint in a cave drop and I was so happy until I realized that I was on scorched earth and there are no quetzals.

I called my quetz "flying skull crawler" and the my enemies literally fell for it.

DID I WIN QUETZ LOTTO?? Not sure HOW/WHY I got this, but I did the solo grappling hook tame on just a level 7(my very first quetz, Q. Pretzel the name), took a little bit but basically standard grap hook from arg using compound bow w/tox arrows, only used raw meat + soothing balm, and after tame, lil pop up window says, "congrats on taming a quetz, for the method(or style?) you used, were granting your quetz an ADDITIONAL 25,000 XP points", ended up being FORTY ONE LEVELS!!!! And that's on TOP of the standard tame level up!!! Jaaaaaaackpoooooot!!! Oh, and go around the swamp, more hills to stand on to be able to have arg target chase....

Me and my friend were in a war on who could tame quetzal first. The winner gets to name it Pretzel(I won by the way). The funny thing is that 1. He didn’t even know where to find one. 2. He doesn’t know how to do the solo grapple technique.

The guy is useful for taming a Titano, right? Well, not in my case. I had a giant platform, 5 cannons and a base, and guess what? He puts his face in front of any cannon i’m firing! It took me hours to tame it, hours, and the Quetz didn’t stop trying to look at me!

One day I was ready to tame one,after I went to look for one,I found one,it was blue,I liked it,so I tried to tame it.its torpor was high,I just had to get a few more shots,so I ‘shot my argentavis with a grapple hook’ and targeted it,but what I did not know was I actually shot a sarco,so I was so mad because my argentavis killed the quetzal.:(

Saddest moments in ark: when you are in an insane battle for a long time with your Tapejara to tame a quetzal with good level, but it goes into the water, and you don't have an equus to get him out of there 😭😔😭

I was always told these things were a pain to tame and were usually super low level, later that day i found two 157 quetz's and tamed them in seconds

Make a house on it. You need two players. One steers the quetzal. The other gets to teez the driver while making stuff.

I had a quetzal in a modded server that flew across the map in like 5 seconds and it died because of its speed it fell off a cliff.
