How do I kill a quetzal? quetzal encountering and battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Dododex users say:
Use a fast, maneuverable flying mount to chase the Quetzal at altitude while firing tranquilizers, since it will usually flee rather than fight. Keep pursuing it away from dangerous terrain, and guide it toward a safe landing area or taming pen so it does not fall into water or become trapped.
