Any tips for finding one in a multiplayer server? I can’t seem to find any even with using these tips…

You can use rare flowers to lure the quetzal your taming to a trap and make sure no other dinos are in the area of your trap

Y’all dumb all I did was get a rifle with 1200 dmg and use tranq darts and just follow it on the ground. If you want to get the weapons just run into caves and place a bed next to the artifact containers and then kill ur self and respawn at obelisk to get back just kill urself

Cant you use tranqs while on a big seagull's back?

Bring an Argi and kill it it will spawn on the land net it then trank it

A easy way to tame the quetzal 1.get a flying Dino you can use weapons on 2. Find this thing 3.start shooting it with tranqs 4.pray for no Rex raptors carnos spinos and gigas 5.if not any of the things listed you now own a quetzal like for more tips on taming!

It's quite an attractive dinosaur. That mohawk makes me gush.

After flyer nerfs its mostly pointless, use quetz only for picking large dinos that argy and ptera cant pick. Do not use quetzals as flying forges cuz is too risky and weith is not good as it was before nerfs.

Am I weird for taming this thing by just flying, landing, shooting, and then flying after it again?

Here’s an easy way I tamed my Quetzal SOLO.

Disclaimer: I did this on a boosted server so this may not work on all servers.

Tek suit. Boost yourself into the air and tranquilize the Quetzal with shocks, paired with the long neck rifle.

I can tame a female and use its eggs for giga kibble

So I'm on mobile and I saw a quetzal and I wanted to tame it I went back to base to get the kibble but when I got back it was gone I was so confused I couldn't find it anywhere it is still alive but i dont know where it is if u know any tips to find an untamed quetzal pls let me know PLS PLS PLS

Kill it, get it's amber and revive it. Of course build a cage then that's it

Platform base stone base auto turrets and youre set also it can pick up most Dino’s even mammoths sooo they are pretty good

In single player they always spawn at craggs island. If U kill one another one spawns

The platform saddle on mobile is tiny, I can barely fit 2 foundations on it, WILDCARD MAKE IT BOGGER,^ if you agree

To tame thsi dude

1. Get a platform saddle of quetzal and ride on it.

2. Whistle to follow and dismount.

3. Start shooting tranq bullets.

4. Give it kibble and don't forget to bring some narcotics if you're not using kibble.

5. Wait, and bam! You've a quetzal!..

They can be anywhere, keep taming equipment on you at all times, or at least tracking devices, as you only run into them when you don’t want to or aren’t expecting it.
