then heres the step totally make alot of trand arrows like 50 or more than i recommend more trand arrows when you miss to much

step 1:you need a tapejara with saddle of course

step 2 get some biotoxin you can get some bio toxins to chidarians

or get 10x soothing balm

step 3: riding tapejara find some quetzal here where can you found quetzal you can found this guys near to obelisk i always found this guys near to obelisks

step 4: if you already found quetzal go near to quetzal sit at the back seat in tapejara whistle the tapejara (target) which the tapejara will attack the quetzal

step 5: while your tapejara is attacking the quetzal go shoot the quetzal with trand arrows

Step 6: if the quetzal is far away from you don’t shoot it if it is near shoot it!

step 7:make sure not to max torpor the quetzal look at your below before max torporing the quetzal if it the quetzal is in land not gonna got to water max the torpor if it the quetzal is gonna got to water don’t max the torpor or the quetzal will die in drown make sure to look below before 1 shot torpor safety first:)

step 8 now feed it with raw prime meat and put the biotoxins to its inventory while waiting i recommend no carnivore dinos around the quetzal if there is no carnivore dinos around go hunt for titanoboa and other creatures that you can get smoe raw prime meat only near but don’t be far to quetzal you might forgot the way

step 9: now you have to guard quetzal from carnivores until it’s full but make sure to feed it biotoxins when unconscious is low

step 10: now congrats now you have a quetzal name idea birdzal or gigantic bird

Do not tame This a Rex killed me when i was Feeding it THE QUETZAL IS BAD LUCK

Use griffin or use rare flowers and make it go aggressive on u simple

What not to do, grab your buddy and fly around attempting to tranq the sucker and accidentally drop your buddy and kill him 😳

Build a quetz trap with a single foundation in the center of platforms saddle. Then put 3 ceilings on the sides then a hatch frame on front of platform saslddle to be able to mount and dismount easier when in air. Then 3 door frames up on the ceiling tiles leaving the front open. Place four ceiling tiles at top to close top off. Find a quetz fly head on at it and once it's in hop off quetz and place 3 door frames at front side to trap it. Now tranq away. Easy air tame. No threats

When knocking out your first Quetzal it is best that you have a army with good stamina and good movement speed to keep up with the Quetzal. Always remember that the redwood is the worst place to let it fly into because it could get lost or despawn.

First Quetz we tamed we took down with a high stamina Ptera and a tribemate in the claws.

These really aren't as slow as people are saying they're actually nearly as fast as a ptera

Don't kill low levels because low level quetzals you should make a taming box for high levels so you can eliminate the risk of it dying

Quetzals are great noise makers and love to fly to the moon

How I tamed one was a got on my tapy and went to the obolisks because that’s where they spawn but I killed it with my tapy but I got it’s implant and made a wood structure around a revival platform because but when putting the structure around the platform you don’t have to close any gaps there can be gaps just make sure there small gaps hope this helped
