Tamed a level 150 with prime meat and it only got to 163. Disappointed in the app it had been spot on until now.

You need a shocking dart engram, a ptera & some skill. Oh, and a parachute 🪂. Ride on your ptera after the quetzal and hop off with the parachute, whistle follow for your ptera. Shoot the quetz. Reapeat. I shot it in the face a few times next to a rex so it got its due of rockets 🧨 in the face then i shoved some meat 🍖 down the quetzs throat

Anyone know what level mobile players unlock the platform saddle?

Use rare mushrooms and a flyer to lure the quetzal to a premade trap. Try and have the trap secluded and in a higher position so that you aggro less creatures with the mushrooms.

It’s long winded but here goes tame a pteredon, build a massive trap, catch and tame a griffin. Now go get that quetzal. You can shoot off the griffin’s back no need for buddy or platform quetzal trap

These guys pretty much spawn anywhere on the map except the artic and I think redwoods. They are almost always high up in the sky so you can't shoot it from the ground maybe if you can shoot it with a chain bola if lucky but your gonna have to get a flyer if you want to kill or tame a queaztal

Easiest way alone is to close distance with a flyer and use a crossbow with hooks to attach to the quetz then whatever weapon to knock it.

On the platform saddle place a bed and a teleporter (if mod is added), so that you can't lose it and can respawn on it and also same with teleporter

I've seen a couple max levels around the alpha plains on the island

Anyone who wants to ride a tamed but no saddle complete tame quetzal and u get a saddle i got journey man after tame quetz its tame titano

just make a trap with 3 bahemoth gates like a huge argie trap and lure it in with rare flower

You have to use darts for this Dino, or else it will die.

If you use an owl and freeze it in the air, you can trap it with gates, and it cant flu away

Make a thatch platform 2 or 3 high and surround it with thatch but make sure you can still shoot it and make sure to put a revival platform in the center kill your quetzal take its implant and revive it. It worked for me every time just make sure you have amber, narcotics and a tranquilizer dart in a gun easy peasy and you can let it sit there if you need to get more stuff

Switching seats on a Tap and doesn’t work on mobile. I just grappled onto a argy and shot it out of the air. Don’t deploy a parachute beforehand though because it takes forever to get to the ground. Release the grapple, then deploy the parachute. I learned that the hard way.

Best way to do this is with your tribeman if u dont has....

To solo tame grapple a quetzal have a saddled flyer by you so you don't die

Just use cooked fish meat, it's a lot easier than making all that rex kibble

Use cooked fish meat on 150 Quetz for special bonus

First build a wooden trap with ceiling then....

Spawn one in with this code ps might take a few tries to heat a decent level.
