Guys use pulmono max damage and an argy with good stamina, then you won’t have to spend all ur time trying to find Tapejaras and crafting tranq darts

I have 3 female quetzal what should I do with them up to make a egg farm with them or down to tame a male and breed them

If you have a quetzal, just make a trap in it and u can solo tame 👌👌👌

Parachutes and toxicant darts.... and something that can fly.... aerial symbiote if you have so you don’t fall to your death

Took down a level 28 for a pursuit, used soothing balm and then with pursuit bonus exp got him to level 82

Welp,I saw one and did the argy+grapple trick and you'll never guess where it fell! The freaking swamp and somehow a sliver of his back is sticking out of the water and he doesn't drown.And I get some prime meat in him.Then I get attacked by two sarcos and a piranha,two seconds after I fight them of it says you have tamed a Quetzal! I was like WTH? HOW?

I used a tapejara to tame a quetzal solo. I added enough stone into my inventory to slow my ride, then hopped in the front seat with a tranq rifle and whistled my tapejara to attack the quetzal. Since it was slowed down, it wasn't able to get close enough to the quetzal to attack it after I started firing. When the quetzal was getting too far away, I dropped some rocks to speed up. It was overall a somewhat tedious process, but in the end it was worth it.

Get a flying dino some parachutes and something to knock it out preferably darts then set the flying dino to follow you get on it fly above the quetzal jump down use you chute and shoot the quetzal

Quetzal in extinction are stupid easy to solo tame, just use a snow owl and high dmg weapon. Freeze dive bomb the quetzal then hop off and shoot it then chase and repeat. Gl

Get a platform saddle and a tek Force field and build on its back and place turrets so when people try to kill the quetzal while your offline the turrets will kill the or knock the off their tames

I have seen one by the red obelisk was quite hard to tame kept going over the water and swamp (I leave near red obelisk just tamed one believe it's hard to tame one I used argy).

I found a quetzal near the snowy waterfall. It spawned before my eyes.

In ark I am in the middle of taming a pretzel lol but since a low level (no offense) can’t tame one because they don’t know how or don’t have a tapejara you should probably be a minimum of level 55 to tame one. Anyway, … what were we talking about? Oh ya, a pretzel. Anywayyyyy, you need a Three saddled Tapejara a bunch of narcotics(or any other narcotics) and a bunch of meat just in case you should probably go to the big red floating stone thing off to the bottom left beach area of the map or you can just see it from the other half of the world but fly there with your tapejara. There shou,d be Pretzels there and I would recommend getting a girl. You come close to the Pretzal WITH your tapejara try to switch seats(in the front seat) and target the pretzel then get a crossbow loaded with a tranq arrow ready and shoot it. When it is over water and you think you have shot it like 28 times wait until it gets over land and then shoot it some more. Make sure your tapejara doesn’t do that much damage to it. When it falls follow it, shove the stuff into it’s inventory, spawn your strongest tames, and tame it. My rule is NEVER LET THE UNCONSCIOUS LEVEL GET HIGHER THAN YOUR TAMING LEVEL:)

Single Player:

.Get Tapejara

.Grab Longneck with 100 tranq darts or use bow with 200 hundred tranq arrows

.Use Prime meat or kibble and soothing balm if you have one

Multiplayer:

.Have Pt with good weight and pick up your friend

.Have tranqs or darts and repeat last 2 tips on single player tips

How to tame a Quetzalcoatlus/z

1.Make Tranq darts that are more than 20 and 30

2.Repair your longneck if its trash or if it has low durability

3.Go explore with your Griffin or Argie (If you have Argie craft grappling hooks and a crossbow) Dont explore the populated areas where lots of common creatures spawn (The Quetz only spawns in Red obelisk,Redwoods,Low spawn rated places,Etc)

4.Knok The Quetz with Griffin or Argie (Grapple the Argie so you can still stay in the air then whistle your Argie to fly to the Quetz then set it to passive then shoot and repeat this process if its far from you 'till its KO'd

5. When KO'd feed it Rex kibble like about x3 or x4.If its not enough and if your almost out of Rex kibble, use a Soothing balm (It will take about atleast 5 Mins below)

6.Wait for it to be tamed

Believe it or not a Quetzal can pick up any creature that you can fit on its back. We built a platform on its back and managed to fly a Giganotosaraus back to our camp

This doesn’t have to be complicated just follow it on a desmodus whole shooting it with tranq arrows. It’s slow so you won’t need to go too fast and make sure you have about 30-35 narcotics on you to keep it uncontious and do not knock it out over water

Are female quetzal (or any animal) able to imprint faster? I had twins and the Male took and extra minute for me to cuddle with him than his sister

I was riding my tribe’s when my game glitched me out. I quickly went back in and i ended up on the ground! To this day I still look for her in the area where I was glitched out and whistle every now and then to see if she hears me.

To tame lvl 24 quetzal, i used Argentavis

(You can use Pteranodon as well), 2 parachutes, and 2 shocking darts (lvl 96) (you can use normal darts as well)

1. Fly next to quetzal's head, jump off your flyer, use parachute, whistle yur flyer to follow you and shoot quetzal in head

2. Jump on your flyer and chase quetzal

3. When quetzal is calm, do first point again.

If quetzal didn't fall asleep, do all points again
