Is super easy to catch them in genesis 2 with the net and the federation suit

Don't do what I did (post Genesis2) and use the grapple hook+whistle attack technique for solo-taming.

Just use the amazing new net projectiles (over a safe area). Quetz solo-tame is now easier than ever!

Grab your snow owl, crank up the stamina, and freeze the quetz out of the sky, then you can use pillars and ceilings to quick trap it and away you go

Get a grapple and grapple it's back, then use tranqs or club

1. Use a agry or tapejara. Or a griffin if can get a hold of.

2. Use narcotics to keep knocked out, use tranq arrows or darts to knock out, have prime meat or mutton to tame, and have a two crossbows for tranq arrows and grapplinghooks, also have parachutes to save you from falling.

3. Have a good day with your tamed Quetzal!

Use the net gun shot off back of Griffin held it down long enough to knock out a 55

My friend and I were doing it for fun but if you freeze them with a snow owl, not only you will go kaboom to the ground, but the quetzal as well. If you freeze it and it falls to the ground, have your friend build a trap QUICKLY before the freeze effect ends or your owl runs out of stam.

Best way to tame one efficiently. Most quetzals will head to 50 50, so build a decent size trap near there, when the quest fly’s nearby throw honey at it, keep repeating until it’s on the floor. Throw a bit of honey in the trap and there you go. Taking my eighth quetz today

Solo on crystal isles. Use a crystal wyvern have it following you. In the air fly under a quetz , hold x to air brake, get off wyvern and shoot, get back on and repeat. You can easily get 1-2 shots before having to reposition. Tip. Reload before remounting and it'll make it much easier.

Everything is good on this except knock out numbers,

If you have a anky and a quetzal with a platform saddle do the ramp trick for farming metal,kristal,flint and opsidian

I ususally find these around the red obelisk on the island, still haven’t gotten enough stuff to tame one though,

I found one at 759.60 or so hope this helps

Get a friend on a argie and grapple onto that argie then get the friend to chase it while you tranq it (Get a good one with Stan tho)

If you have tapejara on mobile, just go and kill the quetzal, take his implant that revive when your fully prepared, but the implants cost amber to revive, so it's not recommended when taming high level and it expires after 48hours of playtime.

The solo tranq from an argy works, but take 2x what you think you need for parashute,tranqs,grappling hooks.dont have argy on follow you or it will be a problem. Have another flyer in a crypod for when you fall and lose argy.

I found out the way to tame a quetzal you grapple the quetzal not your tame now its so much better come on 19 quetzals

People are all saying to grapple your bird and stuff like that. You can just grapple the quetz and have your bird on follow in case you fall.

Step 1: Grapple its oversized head just below it’s ugly mowhawk.

Step 2: Get out your rifle, ready your tranq darts.

Step 3. Feed it mutton or prime meat.

Step 4: Enjoy your new base
