Tips & Strategies
A cool battle :
First tame : quetzal with platform saddle that has c4 dodos on it and turrets mounted by 2 people. One for riding, over for throwing dodo bombs and making sure to restalk the turret ammo
Second tame(s) 2 high lvl yutys with good Stam and hp.
1 yuty is for the buffing the dinos while the other yuty is for scaring the enemy dinos away. (Make sure mate boosted)
Third tame : (s) 6 allos 3 raptors and 6 carnos for charging the main attack. Make sure to get them buffed by yutys and always have them mate boosted.
4th tame : (s) 10 dimorphs for support with quetzal and charging attack. (Mate boosted)
5th tame : (s)2 rythniognathas for taking the vaults and support with resin attacks.
Final tame : 1 high lvl diplo with all stats to hp tanking all of the turrets.
Setting : a hill with a base on top of it.
Description : diplo charges in first tanking the turrets while allos carnos and raptors come with the 2 yutys. Enemy sends in the dimorpths to deal with the charge attack but the 2nd yuty scares them away. Quetzal comes in hovering over the base while the remaining enemy dimorths come in to attack quetzal but are dimorphs easily take them down while the quetzal drop the c4 dodos doing massive damage to the roof which makes the rhynios come. Allos carnos and raptors have done most damage to the defenses of the base and diplo is picked up by the 1st ryhnio and put it away while the 2nd rthynio takes down the last 2 turrets with the 1 t Rex charging in from the enemy base so rthynio picks t rex up and flys him to base. Both rthynios come back and start raiding the loot by picking up the vaults to send back the loot to base. Mean while the enemy base sends back ups ( 2 trex and some dimporths) to try to recover there base but are charging attackers easily kill them. The entire base is looted and destroyed by your charging attack. So yea (epic)
More Quetzal Utility Tips
When you get a platform saddle, put a bed on it so you donβt lose it.
Quetzals, one of the best dinos. Quetzals can easily be tamed with a buddy, all you need is a flying dino that can pick up people or has a multi-seat saddle. Load up with the appropriate tranq arrows, narcotics, food and set off across the map to find one. Low levels are brilliant for beginners as they can serve as brilliant carriers due to their high base weight stat. Higher levels however mainly are used as "Battle Quetzals", alongside the high stats it will receive from being tamed, pumping health and melee damage is the way to go. With that being said you'll be able to tank base defences such as PSX and Auto Turrets, aswell as kill dangerous dinos with ease. Maybe either of those don't tickle your fancy, then hey, make a "Party Quetzal"! Strap on some chairs, tables, food and lots more onto the Quetzal's Platform Saddle and hover in the air as you dance to Darude Sandstorm being blasted through someone's mic in game chat. If you can get a quetzal, do consider as they are brilliant!
these guys are very useful with therizino and anky, even tho it dosent have weight reduction.
When you tame your first quetzal, you should make it into a quetz trapper... if you are wanting more... if you don't know what a quetz trap is, go to YouTube! If you can tame a low level one to start! Being able to tame as many quetzals as you want with the trap, is RIDICULOUS!
Plataform saddle can be mobile farming station, with ankys, forjes and wood. Can Also bΓͺ used tΓ΄ trap other quetzals or flying creatures. Can bΓͺ used as flying army jet, with tons of ammo and weapons. Or simply a high spot for your tΓ΄ shoot on whatever is down there. Can bΓͺ a mobile bed/respawn point for your. Just, please, dont waste your plataform saddle in a mobile Greenhouse. Please dont.
You can use it to start a profitable ARK Airlines business, or parties, or for raiding if you donβt think past necessity, but instead of landing the quetzal you tell the passengers to grab a parachute and that theyβve reached their destination.π

USES OF THE QUETZ
USE 1-So Quetzals have this weight reduction on anything its like a bigger Tapejara that cant hang on walls.
USE 2-Quetz have a high fortidude so if you got an good tier Platform Saddle and add some Metal structutres or TEK Structures on its back and the side of its neck, making it a tough cookie to crack on PVP which is very usefull.
USE 2-Quetzals also have a TEK Variant, i saw one in Centre it was lvl 150 so I tamed it and the TEK Quetzals stats are more better than the original one so basicly a normal quetz has low lvl HP like about 5k-10k HP or sometimes 15k HP but for TEK ones theyre about 10K-20K HP buffing their HP even further and making them tougher to kill when mixed with the Platform Saddle
USE 3-Quetzals are one of the most uncommon creatures in the game having them non-stop spawning in the Red Obelisk which also makes them easy to farm since theyre the easieast creatures to be farmed in the whole game,so if you want to tame a Mosa or Giga just find a wild female and KO it or wait for it to poop out an egg from the sky
USE 4-Quetzals are also used on Taming a Titanosaur (Besides Mechs or Rocket Launchers.)

I played on a server and my tribe had a Quetz, so we decided to have some fun by opening a skydiving business. We slapped some chairs on the platform and a box full of parachutes, then one person would drive, the others would sit in chairs, and everybody would take a parachute.
