I play on ark mobile and recently tamed up a Tapejara. You can switch seats while flying on mobile, so I used this strategy to ko the quetzal I wanted. I activated the Pursuit Tame: Quetzal, cooked up 30 Rex kibble and grabbed 200 narcotics to be safe, grabbed my ascendant longneck with tranq darts and hopped on my Tapejara that I have named Baby Quetzal. Once I found the Quetz, I put the Tapejara on follow so it didnโt land, switched to the front seat, whistled attack target on the Quetz and started shooting. In 5 shots she was down and I just took control of my Tapejara, landed, let it starve out and then shoved the kibble down its throat. The pursuit gives your tame enough exp for 40 levels. I promptly took him home and named him Daddy Tapejara. Happy taming for the mobile players like me๐

Quetz usually spawn at red obelisk, if you don't see one wait a few minutes for t to spawn. If you are looking for a high level kill the lower level one so it another can respawn
I have been looking one for days and when I go to the red obby I find 2 in less then 10 mins so go there and up this
Where these bois spawn
1) The Red Obelisk and to the left near that Island ๐ฅ
2) The Green Obelisk and near the herbivore Island area๐ฉ
3) Sometimes the snow mountains ๐

I dared follow it and waited for it to come down and rest. Unfortunately, quetzals seem to fly forever. So guys, whoever is thinking of doing the same thing, don't. You'll just waste your time.
For 'The Center' map the common spawn locations tend to be near any obelisk, as well as around 55,45 or cruising around the entirety of Jungle South. It's worth checking around lava island too.
So... I figured out the exact spots for the spawns ๐ The primary spot is just behind the red obelisk on the thin little strip of land near the southern island. (I almost always see one spawn there) I also find them frequently spawning around the โback spikeโ of the red obelisk. You will almost always find a quetz around these two places. (At least on mobile) If you want a high level, just kill the one that spawns at these two places and a new one will always respawn back at those two places. This technique worked for me.
Low levels seem to spawn neared red obbi on the island. If you're looking for one, head over there
Help... does the command work on x box and if so how because I've wasted hours trying to find thing watched at least 50 YouTube videos and read all the tips. ๐ please I need help.
