You can find these dinos in the redwood biome or snow biome. I had trouble finding them myself since they blend in so well and if they are up out of the ground they look like dire bears! Until one day I was going to tame a megaloceros and I knocked it out, the darn Purlovia snuck up on me and ate my tame! Always bring a bola and at least 10-25 tranq arrows, depending on your bow. Do not let these guy pack up as they will rip you to shreds. Best method I find that works is to climb on a rock or build a pen around it quickly and then starve it out before knocking it out, this way you donβt have to waste narcotics on the Dino. Use prime raw meat for 15%+ each piece! And if you wanted to know what they are useful for... HIDING YOUR STUFF AND BEING A MINE FOR PVP!!! (If you made it this far, I give you my last 180 words I have left...) You fly with your ptera and BOOM. A tiger jumps sacrifing itself and now you are falling from the sky.
You walk chill and relaxed and BOOM. An oversized rat jumps and kills you. Its very annoying

When I was building a trap to trap the Giga, I was trying to use my lv 605 Ptenarodon (Her name was Shelly) to lure the Giga into the trap. Suddenly there was this mtfk LITERALLY JUMP AT MY FACE and stunt me and my bird. The Giga then killed my bird and the Purlovia. Idk how did i get that unlucky, but after that I listed this guy to my most hated Dino, and I always look around whenever I fly around the snow forest

Cool thing a dire wolf can detect a untamed purlovia when it makes that sniffing emote a mask Icon pops up when a purlovia was near in the ground
One day, I was in the redwoods with my assault rifle killing terror birds, and then out of nowhere, this boy jumps out and scares the flip out of me. So I run back to Pterry Cruise, (my pteranodon) and fly as fast away as I could. I circled back and filled him with holes.
Literally the Viet Cong... no seriously these guys will **** you
