DO NOT TAME THEM IN CAVES. I repeat DO NOT tame them in CAVES. I tamed one level 300 and ride it, every single creature in the game ignores it. I can basically murder Brontos and Paracers and Therizis and Rexes with ease as they all ignore me now that I mounted my cave tamed Scorpius, as long as you dont use your weaps and only use the mount attack. I can waltz in the caves and murder everything in sight without the slightest resistence. This is literally the leave me alone cheat. I remember my first play through of Ark on PC. I went nuts with the console cheats and ruined the game so hard I dont feel like to play it the day after. This is almost the same as back then. I almost ruined my game the 2nd time on mobile with my invisible scorpius. Dont repeat my mistake. The caves are dangerous and scary and thats what makes it fun
More Pulmonoscorpius Utility Tips
Sting any creature thatβs attacking to turn them passive
You canβt breed them on mobile.
In my opinion, these guys are the best, go on, say i am weird.
First, they are very easy to tame, all you need is a few spoiled meats and a bola, tranq arrows or even slingshots will do.
Second, after they are tamed, they are super useful, you can use them for cheap creature knock-outs, plus, if you tamed one in a cave, then use it for exploration, nothing in the cave can pick on you, making it easy to get to the artifacts.
Third, they are super easy to care for, they eat spoiled meat as well, so if a stack of meat spoils in its inventory, it will still eat them.
They have decent speed, stamina and melee damage, and can cross over tough terrain that most dinosaurs canβt.
Plus cool
When I was a fresh noob to ark I'd tame 3 scorps. I'd ride one and have the other 2 set to follow and there wasn't anything that could stop us
Ok these guys need a TLC patch.
First patch: being able to choose to use its tail for less damage but more torpor, or use its claws for more damage but no torpor.
Second new ability: grabbing a small Dino with its claws only being able to use its tail for attacking while picking up a Dino. Perfect for taming!

The higher the melee damage, the higher the torpor. Also upgrade movement speed so it can close the gap
This is less of a tip and more of a question, but if I level up a pulmonascorpias melee damage will it increase the torpor???
Thorny dragon or Pulmonoscorpious. Which is better?
Thornys and scorpions are some of the only nock-out tames in the game. They both deal a good amount of torpor, but which is better to knock?
Using the stats of a lvl 1 equs, dodoex says that it will take 10 stings from a scorpion or 105 thorny needles from a base lvl to knock a lvl 1 equs. It might seem that the thorny dragon is immediately disqualified, but hold on a second. The thorny shoots 10 quills at a time, so if we divide 105 by 10 we get 10.5, meaning you will need to get almost eleven full hits to knock out. Taking in account that is is hard to get full hits, the number of shots you need to take is much greater than a pulmo. Thus the pulmo is the best out of the two! Thx for reading!

Scorpions make a great early seafaring mount if you hold the jump key ( space bar by default) a scorpion will float above the water allowing you to get past most Puranas without being attacked, this can be extremely useful for crossing dangerous rivers or even oceans.
To anyone wondering why you can't deal torpor with these guys.
You do, even on mobile.
The thing is, for some God unknown reason, you can't see torpor in creatures with the spy glass while on a tame, if you get off you will be able to see that you did inflict torpor.
