What is a pteranodon used for? pteranodon utility tips and strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.

Dododex users say:
The Pteranodon is an accessible early flying mount suited for scouting, exploration, quick travel, and retrieving items or taming targets. Its barrel roll can provide effective combat and meat harvesting, but its low durability and carrying capacity make careful stamina management and a stronger flyer advisable for heavier work.

I always have different type of Pteras.

A good thing is to perfect tame one and skill it on movement speed (200+) and some weight. (Stamina should be enough) and fly around for supply drops. It's a fast way to travel from drop to drop
