This tip is about the PT in PVP

The PT is the gateway flier. I suggest upgrading to tapejara as soon as you can afterwards.

The pteranodon is, as said above, a beginner. But, if it’s all you can access right now, here’s the best way to use it in ‘war’

PTs are sort of like fighter jets. They are one of the fastest, if not the fastest on The Isle. They can carry small creatures, like dodos or compys or other stuff like that.

One of the best uses for it is as a spy/scout. If you can stay unseen, you can scout out the enemy base and figure out access points. If seen, you can zip away.

Another use is to utilize the carrying abilityas a bomb dropper. Infect a small creature with swamp fever or put C4 on em, set them on aggressive and wander as extra spice, and drop them into any open base areas. Best if you have multiple ‘bombs’.

If you wanna know how to do the barrel role on mobile, all you do is just crouch while you are on the pt

If you play mobile version and you don’t know how to barrel roll just double tap I think or go to setting and do Secondary attack I think

Barrel roll is right stick click

(This is only for devices like iPads, phones, ect.) If you wanna do a barrel roll just tap the left side of the screen with 2 fingers at the same time. It’s a powerful attack.

If you’re on exctitoion and u have a poison pteranodon then u can knock other creatures out. Try it!

Was exploring on my pteradon Flappy Bird today and ran into two Allosaurus, one an Alpha. Needed to land for stamina, Flappy Bird took so many hits and no damage. We stayed until we could take of and rested up on a ledge. Had more run-ins that day including another Alpha Allo, raptors and a T-Rex and Microraptors and made it home in one peice!

Much less useful since the flyer nerf, most uses no longer apply. If you want a more rounded bird get an Argentavis.

The bird is kind of okay after its nerfs. Would not recommend for much besides as a starter flyer to get in and out of fights quickly.

Since the nerf they arent has useful but they are still easy tames good for taming (can land on rock) and a very fast tansport pump stam

Speed is key. These birds are great for picking people in war or just plain transportation. Just remember that when you pick someone they can bola you.

While flying avoid water beneath you to close it will cause you to lose your pteranodon and possibly get you killed

It flys... your welcome. Only tame a high level one if your going to tame one

During pvp with a high melee bird barrle rolling a player will kil them off there mount. Some find this much more effective than picking riders

If you have one do not log off with your pteranodon in a cave or they will be deleted because of a glitch in the game right now
