Aim for the head

You can find high levels on ragnarok in the highlands, and you can find Ovis easily in the highlands so you can tame them with mutton. Beached whales also spawn on the volcano beach which is right by the highlands. Beached Whales give a crap ton of Keratin which is something you need to make the saddle. You don’t have to up if you already knew this.

If I where you I would wait until you are level 38 or somewhere around that. If you are near it or you are level 38 I would craft two bolas (in case it gets out of the first one) then find a pteranodon and use something like your fist to knock it out. Then craft it’s saddle and fly on it.

All you have to do is spawn at highlands tame a equas find a pt bola it knock it out find a sheep get raw mutton then put it in the pt there you go

This works with every tame, but knock out your creature (ptero in this case), save game, go to main menu, log back into your game with the dinosaur food drain put up to about 30.0. Your creature will tame in seconds, and then once tamed, save game, go back to settings and put food drain back to normal.

You can also make your player 100% invulnerable, so it kinda feels like cheating…. I been running through the redwoods on a killing and taming spree since I’m invulnerable, I have ten second taming, don’t need narcs, I just knock everything out with my fists since I can’t die. It feels ridiculous. I killed a pack of allos, raptors and troodons all at the same time with a hatchet. They were all over level 70, too

how to tame:

Bola it

If it's a low level, just hit it with your fists or a club, but with higher levels use some tranqs.

When it's out, wait a bit for it to starve a little.

When it's food goes down a bit, start giving it meat. It can be taned with regular meat or fish meat, but prime meat or prime fish meat does wonders.

Tada, you have a pteranodon.

(Mainly level up it's weight and stamina)

Use bio toxic to keep them sleep they wake very fast you get bio toxic from killing jellyfish

TIP- y’all when u get one don’t go right away and travel around the map!!! Their stetma (sorry idk how to spell that) is bad what I did is chill around my base kill simple animals get is his stetma, heath, and damage up now he is killing every animal and his stems never runs out bc I leveled it up

Make a mortar and pastel then get the black ish berries and spoiled meat. Make the norcodics and get bolas and lots of meat. Use the bola and knock it out. When the Unconsciousness is low then use a norcodic. Wait till tamed and kill any predators around the area. That’s how I got mine. His name is Mossfedd :p

ARK Mobile Ultimate Edition is messed up... A 108 lvl ptera will get tamed in 3 raw meet in around 2-3 minutes while in the game mf took almost 1 real life hour and still around 20% only... Damn

This is how to tame one: First, craft a couple of bolas. Find a pteranodon that has 500 health or lower. Put the bola in your hot bar then bola the pterodactyl. If the bola breaks, use the other ones you crafted. Then, punch it until it becomes unconscious. Then you can use regular raw meat, raw prime meat, dodo eggs, or dodo egg kibble to tame. They take a long time to tame and the torpor drops fast, so feed them narcotics or narcotics to keep them unconscious. Once it’s tamed craft a saddle and enjoy your new flyer! These are easy early game tames and I recommend them if you want to tame a flyer bc they’re probably the easiest flyer to tame.

These dudes are very easy to tame just their saddle is a high level.

Recommended items: slingshot , stone , narcotics,meat or prime meat and bola.

Step 1: find a pteradon

Step 2: bola him

Step 3: take your slingshot and knock him out

Step 4: feed him meat and narcotics (prime recommend)

Step 5: wait for it to tame

Step 6: take him home

Boom now you have a pteradon

Easy tame, bola it, shoot with tranq arrows, chuck a couple stacks of meat in its inventory, and kill about 10 ankys to build a saddle

On lost island, only use crossbow/arrows and bola…. Or it takes forever to knock out high lvl…

I tamed my first Pterandon today by knocking her with bola and slingshot and giving her only Raw Meet and now i am increasing only her Stamina

Tip for noobs: first craft a Bola. Catch the pteranodon with the Bola. Gather meat.lure cnidarias/jellyfish to land. Knock the pteranodon unconcious wait for a little while while taming.then there ya go 1 pteranodon

BTW I have 3 of these I just need 4 more levels for pteranodon saddle good luck taming one! Don't forget the jellyfish that's an important part

When i was trying to get a ptera i bolad a lvl 4 and knoked ito ut with my fists and feed it meat AND IT WAS TAMED 2 SECONDS HOW I DIDNT EVEN PUT DODO KIBBLE HOW!?

I just started a ragnarok world and I swear bro this game loves me. I crafted my first cross bow and went out to tame stuff, and then came across a 150 pt! It only took one tranq arrow to knock out and I left it to starve. I came back once its food was empty and it insta tamed when I put meat in its inv. Now I have a lvl 214 pt on day five of my new world! - The goat
