If your just starting out and want a flyer bola it then club it

Tame a lower level Pteradon so it tamed faster make sure it's near tall rocks so it flys into the rocks you need lots of narcotics too.

I tamed one of these by walking up to it, and shooting it with a slingshot when I was level ten. (It was a level 1). I was so disappointed when I learned the saddle is at level 38. This is my second account, and I think if you can knock it out with a slingshot, the saddle shouldn’t be at level 38.

To tame a pt, you must knock it out. Pteranodons are fast so bolas are needed. The knock-out weapon that works best is tranq arrows, or a club if it’s a low level. (Forgot to mention taming food for the dodo message) The pt will eat meat and its favorite kibble is regular.

First you've gotta get some bolas like 6-11 bolas tranqs bows step1 shoot it with tranqs while it got bolad bola it again and again when its loose

Can tame with 2 bolas (1 applied every 20 seconds 3 bolas optional) and a club very easy tames.

Umm.. why am I not seeing the saddle for this! I see the level it’s supposed to be at and it isn’t.. what level is it for you guys? I’ve had the saddle when I played on my iPad and it was level 35.. on my cell phone it’s not showing and I see up to level 36 currently

I just tamed my first flyer today.

If a low level it's an easy game but as higher levels go on you need lore meat and lore narcotics

If possible tame on herbi island. The pteradons are every where here, herbi island is also safe from all carnivores.your only worry when taking will be players

I just tamed a 150 of these, not the best tame but it has good colors. Now I use it to kill rexes, spinos, etc. just barrel roll and it does huge damage. I wish it was on mobile (on mobile you do huge damage when you open your spyglass) but I’m excited to tame a giga with my pt tomorrow. Wish me luck!

In ark ultimate mobile edition i placed raw fish on a 9level pteranodon and nothing was happening for like an hour:')

If you get too close to water while riding a pteranodon, you will dismount. I have died several times because of this lol

On Ark mobile dont jump in the middle area of their wing while taming because you will get stuck and die due to compresion. I've actualy done that way too many times.

Takes a awhile to eat sometimes but overall easy

1 to 3 narc arrows with a crossbow to the head you can get any level pt up to 150

Dont settle for a low level, its not worth it. Find a high level, tame it with meat, prime if you have access to it.

After that, dont tame anymore until you have dodo kibble, unless the first one dies

Then, once you have good stats, i recomend breeding in and mutating at least the good stam and weight

And boom you will rule the ark. Til you get eaten by a giga

When you spot one wait for it to fly to the ground, then use a bola and attack it until it falls unconscious. You then want to give it some meat and maybe some narcotics if the health is too low and it is going conscious. Then, get a pteranodon saddle and fly it!
