Right you neeeed to upgrade weight so much and need to be lvl 38 and I just got it upgraded enough!

I have always had terrible luck with pteras. Today a wild one attacked me. Is that normal??!?! I didn’t even touch him!!!! Well, I was having a bad day, my Phioma had just died fighting a raptor. (This is on mobile, on pc I have full tek and don’t give a crap about phiomas.) so I decided to just say screw it, and grabbed all of my meager kibble supply and meat and mejos. I gathered a bunch of stone and crafted several slingshots. First stop: jerk face raptor. Bola, slingshot, down. Threw meat on him, knocked out an attacking Dilo. He gets up and takes out three turtles. I turn and there is a Ptera! Bola, slingshot, down. He passe our from my third hit, but I had a fourth stone pulled back. Turn and loose it to the left. Hits a level 59 trike. Crap. Arrows. Over 70 arrows, along with my raptor whalloping him, he finally died. Thank goodness. Ptera’s up. Oh, iguanadon! Slingshot..... ptera dead. Crap! Kill the iggy. New ptera. Bola, slingshot, out. He up.

Had a pt on ark mobile. Named it Flying Thing

Flying Thing was my first flyer like most bobs to the game. I did many things with her. For instant i would use her like a mobile campsite in a way. I was crazy and pumped like all points into stem or movement speed and reached 2000 stem or smth. At that point i could fly across the entire map without having to land. Its amazing. When its night and i dunno where to stay while far from base, i just park Flying Thing in the air since it has enough stamina to last the entire night. (I hate nighttime cus i cant see).

Flying Thing was my first large creature killer. It allowed me to take on many things like spinos and theri which were my biggest fears at the time. The 2000stam definitely helped too.

Unfortunately i deleted the game a while after and Flying Thing is gone forever. But i still have many great pictures with her. Good memory, and certainly the best PT

I fell of one of these and for some reason it removed them from my tames menu thing ant I can see it in the air but it isn’t close enough to call it over :(

My cousin tamed a pterodactyl for me a long time ago. She wouldn’t let me take it anywhere because it was hers. It was annoying to have her boss me around. So today I had an idea! The was a pterodactyl at my base, it was green with blackish stripes. It was a male, and my cousin’s pterodactyl is a male (I wish it was female). I decided I would tame it (it was lvl 4 at that time). The taming took a while. A few minutes later it’s about to be conscious. I was about to give up but,.. when I turned around, it was tamed! I was attached to it. We were best buddies! I named him green bean. I decided I would never ever let him go!

When i was like level 15 maybe i had a bola and i saw a pteranodon and i bolad it and then i knocked it out and tamed it so i went on Dododex and i saw that the saddle was level 38 and i decided to just try to get there and at least ill be able to fly almost immediately.

Not really a story but I would definitely recommend a pterodactyl as a beginner flyer. Or any Dino in general. If you max up the speed and stamina, it’s unstoppable. I have a male who has saved my life many times because of that. It can distract the Dino’s that are attacking you while circling them then killing me, not taking much damage. One time, a high lvl raptor attacked me, pouncing on me, It took a lot of my health away but my pterodactyl killed it. So, yes. :)

Expendabirds 1-17 rest in piece. Expendabird 18 is best pterodactyl so far.

When I got my first pteranodon I knocked it out with 2 tranq arrows and was surprised when I fed it 1 dodo egg kibble and instantly tamed it

Well I kept finding them in singleplayer but not in multiplayer that much soo I wanted to tame 1of them like a lot I only use raw meat since I don’t know how to make dodo kibble and I am done.

I had a pteranodan named buckz and one named Dani. I protected Dani with my life but alpha raptors decided it was fun to upset me. Well rip Dani. While then I want to tame a bear in the redwoods, a level 26 red came up and took a bite out of buckz and me it ate me and him. Now I am level 74 and I can destroy all rexes with my level 38 Spino :)

I'd tame a pteranodon I named it sunset because it was orange it was a female and I go to islands with her and I asidenli pressed unclaim and my tablet died and I charge it to 100 but when I went back in she was DEAD😭😭😭😭😭

Was riding my pteranodon on single player, I went to the main menu screen while flying (essentially quitting) and when I loaded up again I fell a short distance to the ground with my mount nowwhere to be found. Also my primitive rifle and ammo disappeared. What the heck

Flappy has had many near death experiences,she has not died(hope it doesn't happen)and we are capturing small dinosaurs and putting them in my breeding pen,and I am basically kidnapping them Like a maniac,it's hilarious.we are amazing.now this is on mobile,so very bad graphics.

Please make the saddle level 20!!! Because you tame one at like level 10-7 so please lower the level.
