Recently when i started playing single player i tamed a pterodactyl named Mr.Nugget and i had a chain collar and i forgot to put it on, and i was hunting for eggs for food and i took a pterodactyl egg and about two or three pterodactyls came and attacked Mr.Nugget and he died, it was a very sad moment for me

Taming them with normal meat is possible u just need 6 nitro. I have created an army of 10 doing this. It may take lvls or add mines never taken

The barrel roll does by far the most damage. I've killed several high level alpha rexes with careful flying on a level 41 ptera.

To do barrel roll on mobile you have to go to settings. Go to controls, on the left or right multitap things change it to Relaod/Alt Attack 2. Then tap with two fingers on whatever side you chose. Perfect way to tame

First you craft 15 tranq arrows. When you notice that the Pteranodon is flying in one direction, shoot a little bit past it. Crossbow required.

Then you make sure that you came with 100 Raw Meat or 75 Raw Meat and 25 Raw Prime Meat. If you don't, put a hold on the mission.

Don't feed!!!!! If you feed, it starts the taming process all over again.

Then you put your Meat in the Pteranodon and craft Narcotic at the Mortor and Pestle. Then you craft a Pteranodon Saddle or you gather the Keratin by killing stegosaurus before the PteraTame.

Feed the Pteranodon Narcotic if the Torpor gets too low.

Enjoy your Pteranodon. Remember that if the Tip was helpful, hit the green arrow.

Dont be impatient and waste balm, just make some dodo kibble. It's not that hard. Also ya might wanna grab a few narcotics.

Make sure to name yours watermelon speed if you have won that is green an pink an fast I called mine that but idk how get saddle

Supa easy tame, just bola it then hit some then bola again, repeat until knocked out then feed it some dodo kibble, RAW mutton or RAW prime meat and some narcotics, BOOM, pteranodon

It’s so hard to tame and I even cooked fish and gave it to the creature and not enough not even halfway.

Their dismount is slightly glitchy, once mine dropped me straight into the jaws of a 125 rex. Anywho, you can swim the gap between herbivore island and the island if it does drop yah, Carno island, I’m not sure yet. But if one drops yah near a big old wild rexio or spino, my advice, RUN AWAY AND DON’T TURN AROUND!

Tame a 27 to get a wyvern egg and the wyvern went to my base and killed my 350 and my turrets were off

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think to make regular kibble, you can use dodo eggs!!! Heard it off of youtube AND read it on ARK wiki under pteranodon!

I tamed one not too long ago, I could not think of a name so I didn't name him. I took him flying and I didn't realize that he was almost out of stamina and he ran out. He started landing, I tried to stop him but there was nothing I could do. He ended up landing in front of a Therizonosaur (or however you spell it lol), a Baryonyx, and a Spino. He put up a good fight and made time for me to escape. He will forever be honered.
