2.get a wooden club

3.throw the bola at it wene cant move get closer

4.hit it in the face until nocked out then

5.put food to tame

If you want to tame this pt just get meat and narcotic or soothing balm have fun with your pt

Step 1: craft a bola (2-5) and narcotics (20-30)(depends on level). Bring raw meat (kibble, raw prime meat, and mutton are best for taming).

Step 2: find a Pteranodon

Step 3: throw the bola

Step 4: knock it out with slingshot or fists (tranq arrows, toxicant arrow, and darts are best for torpor)

Step 5:put raw meat inside Pteranodons inventory. Maintain its torpor to more than half

Step 6:craft Pteranodon saddle (lvl 38 unlock) and put it on

Step 7: enjoy flying :)

I tame a pteranodon in seconds with dodo kibble I just don't know why it say 30 mins for some reason

[WHAT YOU WILL NEED]

.At least 2 Bolas

. At least 25 narcotics (depending on the level)

. Raw meat or kibble

. 40 Tranq arrows/ Tranq darts

. Crossbow/bow

[TAMING]

Pteranodons are very common, finding one won’t be an issue. (From my experience) I usually find them near beaches. Once you have found one you are happy with equip your bola and hit it (make sure it’s landed not flying) start shooting at it with tranq arrows/ tranq darts. Your Pteranodon should be knocked out before the bola breaks (providing you have enough ammo) Once knocked out put at least 40 raw meat/ 30 kibble in its inventory. Make sure to stay with your knocked out pteranodon at its torpor can drain fast.

It is a fast mount to quickly fly to places on The Island,I do not recommended it for beginners as a carrier because it can’t hold much,but it is very agile and fun.I would recommend leveling up mostly stamina to keep it in the air for longer and speed to get to places quicker.A little bit on the weight or health,but it all depends on the person.Customize it however you please,make it into a ultimate destruction pteranodon or a fun,agile racing game pteranodon,the possibilities are endless in Ark.

If you have like ten of these lying around use them as a distraction for wyverns cause after you get a egg all hell is coming when it has arrived whistle agresive and boom home free

Lower lvl, 5-20 1,4 franks from the crossbow, with a bolla. Down for the count. I found cooking meat, not all at once, but batch by batch, tamed quickly. Kill n cook, the way to a Dino's heartstomach 😂

Near herbivore Island there is 14 flying around in a big bunch.

Use it in PvP, grab the enemie off his tame bring him up in the Air till he gets out a bola or a whip, then drop him and when he has a Parachute just barrel-roll him towards the ground. Repeat it. Easy.

Don't forget to not put it to next to a stone wall that way it can bug out and just disappear. I lost 3 birds that way

Make sure to pump weight if you are planning to carry a tribe mate or you will have a huge problem
