If you want to tame a pteranodon really fast your gonna want some dodo kibble to make it you need a cooking pot wood or thatch to lite it then fill up your water skin and put it in the pot full with water then get 3 fiber 2 mejoberry (purple berries) obviously a dodo egg cooked meat and a rockarrot then you don't need engrams or anything for it you just put it in your cooking pot and lite the thing and it cooks in about 30 seconds WARNING ROCKARROTS SPOIL REALLY FAST SO GRAB THEM LAST

Get a raptor for chitin or keritn if you are starting

This is how you do it:

-go to ragnarok (if you already have a character, if not go to the island for a quick xp run till lvl 40 or smth).

-spawn jungle 2 and harvest the shipwreck boxes on blue terminal. (If lucky you get metal crossbow, tools, and some arrows) and upload the stuff.

-spawn highlands 1-2 and harvest dead whales (for keratine to make the pte saddle later on)

-tame an ecuus (horse) so you can travel easier harvest narco berry’s easy and knockout pte if needed.

-find a pte (for crystals to make spyglas check the small cave upstream the bigger cave)

-once u tamed the pte, go upload it (saddle separately) and go to an island server to do an xp run with a lvl 1 character.

How to Tame a Pteranodon: Guide for Noobs

1: to tame a Pteranodon you need these items:

❤️Raw or cooked meat.

🧡Narcoberries or narcotic.

💛Bolas. I recommend at least 3 of them in case it escapes.

💚A club or fists.

💙You may want a saddle prepared ahead of time.

💜Make sure the taming speed isn't at 1 in the settings.

🖤Now since you have the supplies, find your Pteranodon! I recommend a high level.

To bola your Pteranodon, hold down the right mouse button, (FYI I don't play on mobile) then when you correctly aimed it at your Pteranodon, release and it throws it at it.

Pteranodons are scaredy cats, so if it escapes, wait for it to land again and re-bola it. Once you got it down, hit it with the club or fists until it knocks out. Feed it the meat. If the torpidity goes down, then feed it some narcotic. The taming effectiveness means the chance you will tame it, so always make sure it stays at least 98% or it might be unsuccessful. When the tame bar is 100%, you've got your Pteranodon! Don't forget to make the saddle and equip it onto the Pteranodon.

Upgrade Wrieght to you most set him on passief of he atack order dinos

First do pursuit hunt megapirana you get smoothing balm

Second mace come tranq arrow or toxicant arrow

Then bola pt ant knock them then give him balm and raw prime meat or meat don't give fish me

How to tame

Craft bola then use it to stop the Dino

Use a bat or a slingshot (whatever works best for you)

When it’s unconscious give it meat

Give it soothing balm or naracotics both work

Always put points in weight, otherwise they will almost always be encumbered.

Taming

Just one tranq arrow from a crossbow will usually knock them out, but you might need more so bring extra.

This thing is AMAZING

I tamed a low-level pteranodon using bola and one tranq from a crossbow and feeding it dodo kibble (mobile). Using kibble IS WORTH IT they only need one, for low levels at least. Their torpor is drain is extremely quick so if you do use berries bring narcotics (better, biotoxin). Once you have it, craft a saddle (lv 38?) and you can go anywhere on the map without most dangers. Remember to put most levels into stamina and some in weight. I am the one who had the spinosaurus story about multiple spinos living near my house. Well, got rid of that problem. I swooped over the spinos head with Terry, led him to a herd of brontos, waited until his health was halfed and started to run, then swooped in and dive bombed it to death. So THEY CAN KILL SPINOS they are amazing and the most worth it creature I know.

Once you get a bola you can knock it, but there’s a long wait to level 38 before you can fly.

First craft bola and double tap and hold bola and throw and max to max you have 4 bola and knock with bola and feed 4 dodo kibble to craft dodo kibble first craft cooking pot and put in inventorie put 4 mejoberrys and 1 raw carrot raw carrot found in jungle Fern and fibers and 1 dodo egg or 2 meat or fill water skin and some woods and craft dodo kibble and feed to peternadon and you have a peternadon

when you get the level for a bola, craft one and the time should be enough for a ptero around at level 100 to knock it out just with fists. aim for the head

Lots of people say don't fly high because if the stamina runs out you have 7 seconds before it's knocked out, don't listen to them just force feed your pterdon stim berries

Be care full the stamina is low but you won’t fall wen it’s out you’ll just fly slowly back land automatically.

EVERY NOOB SHOULD TAME IMMEDIATELY!

tame as soon as possible and level up ONLY their stamina and by the time you can craft a saddle for this guy he’ll be able to go really long distances easily!

The easiest way to tame:

1. Get bio-toxin and meat

2. Find a Pteranodon

3. Bola it and then punch it until it is knocked out

4. Place meat and bio-toxin in its inventory and feed it the bio-toxin whenever needed

(Bio-toxin is achieved from killing jellyfish)

Short tip dont steal its eggs and to tame bola punches and dodo kibble and be patient bcuz it is gonna take a long time
