If you get stuck between their wings while taming, just eat some narcotics or log out and log back in. You unconscious body will have rolled out of the spot.

Rember ! They eat meat ! Dont be me and shove berries in their mouth only to lose all the taming effectiveness ! Just a friendly reminder for the beach bobs like me hope this helps

i just tamed a lvl145 ptera using bola and crossbow with tranq arrows(im playing on mobile btw)use 5 dodo egg kibble 1 dodo egg is 20.2% bola the ptera and shoot it in the head 2 times 5 sec.intervals also bring narcotics or the one that the jellyfish drop i forgot what it is called and there you have it brand new ptera

they are very weak so don't fight whith him

This is a way to tame pteradon 1.find pteradon

2. Bola it with bola

3. Once bolad punch or bat until uncounsios

4. Feed the recommended foods

5. Enjoy your pteradon

If you have issues with stamina while flying, pack loads of stimberries with, and loads of raw meat too. When fed stimberries, their stamina goes up by 5, however instead of a decrease in water, they go hungry, that's where the meat comes in. I'd advice improving speed and weight capacity

U need a bow , 1 tranq arrow bring a few more in case u miss , at least one bola, and taming food such as meat.

Step 1 Find one u want and equip bola

Step 2 wait til it lands or til u have a good shot

Step 3 Once u get it bola shoot a tranq arrow at the the tip of its head fin because that can knock it out in one shot

Step 4 feed it meat raw meat takes a while to tame so kill a stego for raw prime meat

I'm sure of this on mobile. Your ptera can fit through a single door, get your head in and aim down, congrats you fit through a door! I'm pretty sure it will work on other platforms to, enjoy

You should be level its weight up to about 200-250 and then spam stamina for every level after that. They're super fast but can't hamdle themselves on the ground so it's good to be able to stay in the air.

Tips to taming pteranodon:

1: use a bola unless you have crossbow and above

2:They are weak to head shots

3:they fly when atacked

4:feed meat

5:saddle is lvl 38

Also you should whistle “stop” to make it not fly everywhere.

This tip is about the PT in PVP

The PT is the gateway flier. I suggest upgrading to tapejara as soon as you can afterwards.

The pteranodon is, as said above, a beginner. But, if it’s all you can access right now, here’s the best way to use it in ‘war’

PTs are sort of like fighter jets. They are one of the fastest, if not the fastest on The Isle. They can carry small creatures, like dodos or compys or other stuff like that.

One of the best uses for it is as a spy/scout. If you can stay unseen, you can scout out the enemy base and figure out access points. If seen, you can zip away.

Another use is to utilize the carrying abilityas a bomb dropper. Infect a small creature with swamp fever or put C4 on em, set them on aggressive and wander as extra spice, and drop them into any open base areas. Best if you have multiple ‘bombs’.
